Perfect location right on the Camino Central route. Beautiful private resort vibes with a pool. Belmira was our gracious host who made a wonderful dinner and was very accommodating. A wonderful breakfast was prepared by Cecilia on the day we left. What a special place!

Lovely house beautiful gardens and swimming pool.there only seemed to be one small cafe in the village but our host offered a lovely home-cokked meal and the room had a mini bar.

This is my favorite place along the Camino so far (and I am reviewing from 4 days into the Camino). Clean, cozy room; stocked minibar; pool; excellent to go breakfast in the morning — thank you Villa d’Arcos!

The location on the Camino was nice and it was quiet. The bed was hard but ok, though it squeaked on one side. The garden setting is nice. Breakfast was ok.
I didn't like the huge flower vases in the stairs. It's super dangerous and not practical when you go upstairs with your luggage and even without your luggage because at the point where these huge vases are you end up on the narrow side of the stairs. I can't understand why they leave them there. It's calling for an accident!
I didn't like the old long hair rug in the room (see photo). This is a nest for dust mites and other critters and not cleanable. It should not be in a room where different people go every day. As I walked bare foot on it I saw a pubic hair on my foot! This rug can't even be vacuumed anymore! Gross!!
I didn't like the narrow toilet . When sitting on it my hips touched the wall on both sides!
The shower is super fancy but no explanation on how to use it so what's the point!
So honestly after all the amazing reviews I had read on bookingdotcom I was surprised about all that. A good thing I had read other reviews on Google that had warned me about a few things including the dinner prices and wine not included.
For dinner I went to the bar next door that offers great salads at a great price. No surprises.
For the price it should be perfect. It is not.
