Lovely old, expansive villa in a beautiful mountain setting. Rachel, our host, was very nice and cooked a nice breakfast. It was lovely watching and listening to the local birds, and going on local walks.
It was a shame the owners weren't there, as we feel we maybe didn't get the full experience. While the breakfast frittata was very tasty, we weren't offered tea, coffee or juice despite the fairly high price - AUS$29 each.

The location was beautiful with a nice view
I got there from an interstate flight. When I arrived there was no food or meal. When i questioned this I was told that I had to book the dinner or confirm dinner 4 days before hand. I hired a car to get there and was driving up a windy road with fog and wet roads. It was getting dark so I headed directly to the lodge. To be greated that way and told there was absolutely nothing for me to eat was in my view unacceptable. The closest supermarket was a 20 minute drive down the hill. I also didnt like how I was made to feel my request was unreasonable. FInally, the room smelt musty and there was mould on the bathroom curtains. I also wasnt told that there was a hot water bottle I could access when it wa really cold when I arrived. ALl is all little respect for the client.
