Lovely little hotel. If you're an American, don't come here expecting to get traditional hotel service. Yes, there is no turndown service or towel changes. However, if you treat it as a private room, such as an airbnb, then you won't be disappointed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. One of the days we were there, the temperature exceeded 100F, and I asked the staff for a fan, which they happily gave me. It saved what would have otherwise been a long, sweaty night and kept us perfectly comfortable, even during the heat wave. Would recommend. Also, the restaurant downstairs is easily the best value of all the spots that we ate at. Fantastic food and dirt cheap.

Won't win awards but ticked all the boxes. Friendly greeting, comfy bed with a recent mattress, decent shower. My room opened onto an interior courtyard and was surprisingly cool and quiet despite the heatwave, I managed to sleep quite well. Location convenient for work & metro. Interesting quarter with lots of diversity.
Bathroom could do with a freshening up.

Excellent location. Small kitchenette with facilities in the room.
The room had been cleaned but it was the kind of old decor that can never be really clean. For example there was some old mould near the bath tub.
