The Hidden Village Khao Yai is one of our favorite properties in the Pak Chong–Mu Si area. We have stayed here many times and always appreciate the friendly staff, peace and quiet, beautiful garden-resort atmosphere, and large, comfortable rooms.
We continue to experience repeated problems with breakfast, including cold food, incorrect orders delivered to our room, soggy or stale bread, and wilted salads. To be direct, the included breakfast is consistently very poor and among the worst we have experienced. The property needs to completely rethink how breakfast is prepared and served. Alternatively, it should offer a lower-priced, room-only option so guests do not have to pay for such a disappointing in-room breakfast experience. Despite how much we enjoy staying here, these recurring problems are serious enough that we may choose to stay elsewhere more often.

This is a luxurous place to stay in a beautiful setting. The view on the lovely garden and hills was the best!
The restaurant where they serve breakfast is not so nice, it completely doesn’t match with the rest of the experience. The solution for us was to order breakfast as room aervice. Then you can enjoy it at your owb balcony with a stunninhlg view!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Upper Pavilion at The Hidden Village. Having now experienced four different room types at the property, we found this one to be the best overall. The spacious interior, elevated position, and pleasant outlook created a greater sense of openness and comfort than the other rooms in which we have stayed.
The pavilion was clean, quiet, and well maintained, with a reasonable level of privacy from the surrounding villas. The mature trees, birds, and hillside setting give the property a peaceful character that feels far removed from the busier areas of Khao Yai.
Breakfast was included, generously customized to suit our nutritional preferences, and delivered directly to the room. This allowed us to enjoy a healthy, relaxed morning without needing to visit a restaurant or common area. The staff were outstanding throughout our stay: consistently courteous, attentive, and discreet. We could not have wished for better service. Thank you.
The Hidden Village is particularly well suited to guests who value privacy, generous living space, natural surroundings, and a calm atmosphere rather than the facilities and constant activity of a conventional resort. The Upper Pavilion offered these qualities especially well and was our favorite of the four room types we have experienced.
The property continues to improve with each stay, and there was very little we did not like. The main area that could be improved is the small fitness room. It would feel more useful and welcoming if it were equipped with higher-quality, name-brand commercial equipment, such as Cybex. At present, the machines and other equipment do not quite meet normal commercial gym standards, which makes the fitness area less appealing to use.
However, this is a relatively minor issue, as it would not be reasonable to expect the gym at such a mountain boutique property, which excels in virtually every other way, to meet the standards of a dedicated fitness enthusiast like me.

Pleasant spacious rooms with very comfortable bed.

The property lacks a centre of gravity, where you could enjoy a buzzy atmosphere vs privacy of own terrace. Pool area is very plain and dated, and does not encourage hanging out as all loungers are covered by fake leather highly unpleasant in the heat. Break out areas across the property are not placed thoughtfully to enjoy most beautiful views of nature and feel like an afterthought. The restaurant feels very dated and was completely empty during our stay.
Breakfast is a disaster. You pre-order a chosen menu the day before and it's delivered to your room. All the European style breakfasts seem to be poorly prepared using low quality ingredients and does not feel very fresh (cold egg, cheap ham/ sausage, cold white toast bread, tinned tuna). Very limited choice of hot beverages (only coffee/ black tea).
Whilst staff are overall pleasant and try to be helpful, the communication was poor. I was cornered by the receptionist to highlight I got make up on one of the towels, which was an awkward situation for no reason. When we booked a car for the day to explore the area, we were not informed that the we had to pay the driver in cash or that price did not include travel to the National Park and would incur an additional fee beyond cost of park entry.
