The cottage itself is beautiful inside, roomy and light everything we needed was there whether we were having an aperitif on the decking looking at the fantastic view or staying in and cooking. There is a great little short cut to the town through the back gardens which we found by accident and saves a long walk round the roads.
We rented it on the understanding there was private parking as per the details. This is very misleading as there is no parking, if you are lucky enough to find a space in a street further up it is at least a 15 -20 minute walk to the cottage, there was mention of a permit but that was nowhere to be seen and I couldn’t get hold of the owner. This is the only disappointment we had. We would definitely like to stay again but this time we would know what to expect.
