Mooie faciliteiten, bereikbaarheid van het hotel en het was niet te druk op en rond de accomodatie. Bij het zwembad was er een barretje en kun je hapjes bestellen.
Enige minpunt is de douche, de douchkop hing te laag, waardoor ik en mijn partner er niet onder konden staan.

We stayed at Cleopatra Beach Hotel for several days and, overall, had a pleasant stay, mainly thanks to the beautiful surroundings and the genuinely kind staff.
The positive aspects are definitely the scenery, the large swimming pool, which is perfect for actually swimming rather than just cooling off, and the hotel staff, who were always friendly, welcoming, and willing to help. Housekeeping was also very good: the room was cleaned every day, and towels were changed every two days.
Unfortunately, the hotel itself feels quite outdated. The furniture is old, and the windows should really be replaced. They don’t have mosquito screens, which created two different problems. During the day, we couldn’t even sit on the balcony because it was full of wasps, and in the evening we couldn’t open the windows because of the mosquitoes. The hotel is clearly aware of this issue, as they leave an electric mosquito repellent in every room, but installing insect screens on the windows would be a much better long-term solution.
Another issue was the air conditioning. If it runs for a longer period, it starts leaking water. In our case, water dripped onto our luggage, leaving everything inside wet. The staff had already placed a garbage bin underneath the unit to catch the water, which suggests they were already aware of the problem (see attached photo). This should really be repaired instead of managed with a temporary fix.
The biggest disappointment, however, was the breakfast. At €12 per person per day, we expected much better quality. The food often looked like leftovers from the previous day, with trays left almost empty and not even refilled to give the impression of freshly prepared food. The coffee was also extremely poor—probably the cheapest quality available.
The hotel is located next to the sea, but there is no actual beach, and the waterfront is intended for boats rather than swimming. If you’re looking for a hotel where you can walk straight into the sea, this is not the right place. The nearest village is about 600 meters away, which isn’t far, but there is no pedestrian sidewalk, so you have to walk along the road with the cars, which feels unsafe.
