Very nicely presented and clean.
Front entrance could be more attractive. Complementary hand soap would not cost much to provide. Perhaps UHT milk too, given there are no provisions stores nearby (that are open after 5.30pm, when we arrived).

Beck View is in a fantastic location right in the heart of beautiful Staithes, located next to the bridge and within easy reach of all the local amenities. The cottage itself has a very comfortable bed, which was great after a long day of walking. The towels and bedding were clean.
However, it feels like the listing photos might be a bit older, as the property currently looks quite tired and is in need of some TLC. It definitely would benefit from a deep clean and dust. The carpets and floors felt like they needed a thorough hoover/ clean, and we had to wash the cups and teaspoons before we could use them as they were dirty. Another downside we didn’t fully consider when booking was the lack of outside space.
