Roof garden, host and facilities were fantastic. Couldn’t rate highly enough

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Perfect Boutique Stay in the Heart of Ponferrada Our stay at Azotea Suites was absolutely wonderful. The location could not be better — right by the Basílica and the castle, in the heart of beautiful Ponferrada, yet wonderfully quiet. The suite itself was modern, elegant, spacious and impeccably clean, with a real five-star boutique feel. We particularly loved having such a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen with absolutely everything we could possibly need. The upstairs azotea (roof terrace) is a real highlight — modern, luxurious and beautifully designed, with amazing views. It is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the surroundings. And then there is Mónica, the manager, who really makes the experience exceptional. She is absolutely lovely, responds immediately to any question or request, and goes out of her way to make sure everything about your stay is perfect. Nothing feels like too much trouble. There is convenient paid parking only about a three-minute walk away. If you are travelling with heavy suitcases, Mónica can also arrange a permit so that you can drive right up to the door to drop off your luggage, which makes everything incredibly easy. Ponferrada itself was such a wonderful surprise — a beautiful, atmospheric and rather magical town — and staying at Azotea Suites made our visit absolutely perfect. We will certainly be back. Next time, we would love to stay longer and use Azotea Suites as our base for exploring more of León and this beautiful part of Spain.

Location next to Castle of Templar & h aving a freezer & shower sliding door was good Bed & couch was comfortable

Needed to phone for 3 Da Vinci codes to access condo. When accessing stairs, no lights came on & no switches, so couldn't see where to go & didn't see lift so lumped heavy bag upstairs. despite my injured leg. Hard to find the tiny secluded condo door panel or its keys, especially the #, that was hidden within bell sign, due to poor lighting Toilet was not clean Dishwasher had been left on & was beeping Initially thought it was faulty smoke alarm Dongle lamp at wash basin hit me in the head No real tea bags.. i.e no bags of black tea
