Contact was made by Whatsapp a few days before re check in, wifi code etc as pub was closed on a Monday and a Tuesday.
Room was clean, bed comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities and sparkling water available.
Location was ideal to visit family in Battle.

Great view from the room. Very peaceful and calm. Easy access to the town and local facilities.
I would have been nice if breakfast was served on site. However, there was a lovely café and general store a short walk away.

Views from the Terrace
The restaurant was closed due to Extractor fan Issues. No breakfast available which apparently is the norm. Fortunately the local Village store opened at 0800 for breakfast which was most enjoyable.
