We loved the location as it was so close to an awesome surf spot and not in a heavily touristy area. The hotel was very clean and professional, the owner was very smiley and friendly the whole time, we were given a welcome drink of a coconut which was really quite a touch. we really enjoyed our stay, breakfast was delicious everyday too and we enjoyed the rooftop pool.
We booked the cheapest room available and were given a room with air con on arrival without any explanation to it being a more expensive room. we stayed for 4 nights and on leaving were asked to pay $5 more per night for having an air con room which I was not too happy about as this was not explained on arrival or at all throughout the stay.

This apartment is not in the city. It is between Galle and Hikaduwa, but the bus stop is just by the house and host arranges tuktuk transportation. The pool on the roof is absolutely amazing with stunning view. The room is big enough and bathroom is big and clean. Breakfast is good. The host has the best smile ever :)
The house is by the street so if you have problem with sleeping it can be too noisy for you.
Just 200 metres from hotel there is nice Blue Wave Sea Turtle Conservation & Research Center. Beach is beautiful but it can be dangerous for swimming.

Location, close to Galle and Hikkaduwa attractions. Quiet area, not much tourist noise. Clean facilities, cozy rooftop pool and a very friendly family that runs the place. The local breakfast was incredible !
