Location is very good. It's one of those buildings with classic style. Staff is very friendly.
It's close to the sea, to archeological sites and to a vibrant part of the city.
The washroom is totally new and with nice design. Room had also a small balcony.
The beds and furniture of the bedroom had smell becaouse of humidity. They were old and with nice style, but the proximity to sea makes them humid in the long term. Need to be replaced.

Nice staff. V good place, clv close to the sea, the main street of downtown, tram.
Small shops and restaurant,(Sandwiches), dry cleaning are downstair.
I got aview to the sea from balkon.
Personaly, I do not like to use the ac. So that I open the Window at night. The pets at the street cause a little bit noise.(This situation in Downtown overall)

Nice enough for the price. Room was clean, and the elevator works! Fridge in a budget room was very welcome.
Fairly indifferent check in staff. But nothing too terrible.

Hotel staff is great and helpful! They allowed us to make early check in when we were in need and otherwise were pleasant and helpful with advice. The location is perfect and near many tourist attractions.
Rooms are really dirty. The bed coverlet was dusty, smelled funny and had stains. Place is really dusty. We found olive pits from eaten olives in the corner of our room and some small garbage under the bed. Both rooms we stayed in had many cockroaches, especially in the bathroom. Wi-fi only worked in the lobby downstairs and is really slow and not great. Shower doesn't have shower curtains, but I think that's maybe cultural, because we didn't have them in other hotels either, so the bathroom gets wet after shower, but it dries quickly in hot weather. Also, you don't get towels, but that was also in other Egyptian hotels, too. Shower head in one room (we rented two rooms) worked really bad, water was barely running. Also, power outlets couldn't hold and our phone charger kept falling out in one of the rooms. Only one worked properly. All in all, not really a great stay, but staff was super nice and helpful so we managed.
