The inside of the cottage is pretty -lovely to have the table dressed!! The beds were comfortable. It looked so cozy as we arrived with the lamps and fire lit. Fantastic that it is dog friendly 😀
The outside areas were unkempt-front gate did not close, the windows and doors need repainting (front door needs re-sealing as too many gaps in frame) The back garden is full of brambles and is overgrown!! It could be a lovely area if tended to regularly!! The carpets were not clean-we had to vacuum the front bedroom on our arrival, the sofas need a deep clean-the arms are very dirty!! The vacuum cleaner is not very efficient.

Spacious accommodation, the enclosed terrace/garden area was perfect for our two doggies to roam in and out. We really loved the homey yet modern decor and the accessible parking was a bonus!

The property was welcoming and comfortable. It was in a lovely location just across the road from the canal walk which was peaceful and beautiful. We used the house as a base whilst exploring. The bedrooms were well designed and comfortable. The lounge and kitchen were beautiful.
The main town has a big shopping centre and isn’t too far to walk or drive.
The shower head was a little wild and caused a few floods. Maybe a bigger shower screen would solve this. Was an easy fix as a mop and bucket were supplied. The front door lock could maybe do with updating. And also the little pellet holes on the outside of the back door could do with filling.

The location and the back garden was secure. The bed in the main bedroom was lovely and comfortable. We were very grateful for the fans during the summer heat.
The shower was lovely and clean and it was hot and powerful.
The cleanliness in some of the areas. Upon entering the property it smelt of damp dogs, the carpet and rugs in the living room and bedroom were dirty and gritty. We had to roll them up and move them to the side. We also had to buy a candle to mask the smell. We hope it helped.
The kitchen was sparse and cold. There was no bin bag. There was no welcome pack and little to no personality. It was very cold (not temperature wise, it lacked being homely)
The property photos make it look a lot nicer than it was. But out of all the options (or lack there of) of dog friendly properties in the local area this is a good (but expensive) option in the local area.
