Beautiful modern hotel very near to Nijo-Jo castle and the imperial palace, spacious and surrounding area felt like you were in right near the transport links. The staff were very helpful and we were able to arrange taxis, forward luggage and get advice.
Sofa bed was quite noisy, and not very comfortable for 2 kids sharing.

The decor and vive of the hotel are really nice. The afternoon tea room is also very pleasant
The cleaning was very very poor. We had to request the room to be cleaned again and the reception was very kind to arrange a deep cleaning but it is unacceptable that a 4 star hotel has rooms like this ( see pictures). The location is ok, close to Nijo Castle but still need to walk 15 min to reach the subway . The room was pretty small and one very big down point is that the blinds leave a lot of light in and with a baby you will wake up very early.
