The General Gordon

A great overnight stay in a comfortable quiet well appointed room with ensuite. Across the road from train station and bus hub making getting there very easy, though for the airport it’s direct only by taxi (or uber). I really enjoyed the pub meal and the busy staff were very helpful to me.

Spacious, comfortable and clean. Everything worked as expected. Easy and convenient access to the train network.

That it doesn’t have parking facilities. Otherwise, it cannot be faulted.

Clean room. Nicely decorated. Close to sydenham train station and airport

Generally good. The price? But its sydney price i wont complain The sockets next to the bed dont work though thats the only thing. Rest of the sockets in the room works.

Excellent location right at the train, overall nice renos. Ample towels and decent bathroom products.

Cigarette smokers outside meant couldn't use balcony Drunk people around when entering/exiting - slightly unsafe and super loud, could hear music until after midnight Bedside lights have to be turned off at wall b/c wall light on same circuit Weird check in at bar, unclear signage Room wasn't serviced and only very limited TP provided Shower setup awkward with door, and cage instead of shelf Rubbish bins weirdly large
