A lovely cosy home close to public transport and well situated for all local attractions and towns. Everything is thoughtfully put together for your arrival, a wonderful secure garden for the dogs and just a really lovely and homely place to stay. I love staying here - 2 years on the trot

The location was fantastic with regards to being able to walk to the local beach and pubs in Instow. It was near local shops, 15 mins drive from the big Sainsbury's. We were within a half an hour drive from most beaches and places to visit e.g the zoo, honey farm etc. The host was most amenable, allowing us to check in early, suggesting places to visit when asked for advice. Always quick to reply to any messages. The house had everything we needed, telly for the kids, kitchen with cooker, dishwasher and other appliances. There was a fantastic piano in the living area which our kids absolutely loved. Fresh bedding and clean towels provided. Lovely garden which was fully enclosed including a BBQ if we'd wished to use it. A good price too for the week compared to other places we have stayed in static caravans that have been well over the price of this spacious house.
Sadly, on arrival the house had not been cleaned to our standard, there was still dog hair on the floor from the previous people staying. The taps had mould all around the bases and there was a musky smell. Bathroom sinks were very small which made it hard to wash your face. Spiders everywhere, every wall, ceiling or corner had a spider. There was mould from damp on the bathroom ceilings, paint peeling off. Dust around all the lampshades. Shower door downstairs was very stiff to open and close. The place felt a little dated and unloved. If it had more time given to it to properly deep clean it and fix mould or even a touch up here and there it would have been really lovely.
