We had a great stay at Villa Ubud Heart who felt like an oasis of tranquility in the craziness that can be Ubud in August. Once you find yourself in the small garden you almost can't believe that you are truly in the heart of Ubud, two steps away from the bazaar and within walking distance to everything. We were a party of 8 so we rented the entire villa, 4 rooms out of which 2 have a shared bathroom (good for families). We spent almost every night sitting in the open living area. There is a kitchen full of utensils, and you can also order breakfast from the restaurant up front. The rooms were different in size (3 with a double bed and one with two single beds) but they are spacious considering the location. Maria, the manager helped us organize some trips and the transfer, she was very nice and quick to answer.

A beautiful stay at Villa Ubud Heart. Perfect if you're feeling insular, want your own paradise or looking to spend time close to the city and within walking distance of most things. The Villa is gorgeous with 4 rooms, 2 separate and 2 attached by a shared bathroom. There's a shared open living area which is great to share meals or hang by the pool. The rooms are gorgeous and very homely.
It was quite noisy during the nighttime, however it was a new moon celebration when we stayed. It's also behind a restaurant and in a families complex so if you wish for something more private and independent choose another location

we stayed 2 nights with a family of 5. The villa is in the middle of a market street and consists of multiple rooms around a pool/ garden. What we liked:
- spacious
- lovely pool and garden
- friendly people and staff
- lovely pets
- fruit as a welcome gift
what we didn’t like:
- humidity in the rooms, it smelled like mould
- thick, fluffy mould growing on the bathroomwalls
- the bathroomsink didn’t drain (very slowly)
- all, but one bed, very saggy and soft
Way too expensive for what it is!
