• Location: 5-minute walk to Monkey Forest; 10-minute walk to Saraswati temple, handicraft shops
It's on the main road, but the bungalows are away from the noisy road, so you get quietide and tranquility, amidst natural trees with the sightings of monkeys.
• My bungalow was clean, spacious and comfortable.
• The room had toiletries (eg. soap, shampoo), cupboard with clothes hangars, a safe, bottled water, etc.
• The bed was firm and I would just want to sleep more and more.
• Decent water pressure and hot-water was available.
• WiFi speeds were quite fast.
• The staff were helpful and assisted me with local phone calls, because of my SIM card issues.
• Breakfast was good, with choice between fried rice, rice noodles or pancakes, with fruits and juice.
• There is a swimming pool to relax and swim in.

For me, the stay was very pleasent. The stuf is very nice and helpfull. The four options for breakfast was enough. Mostly vegetarian meals with a plate of fresh fruit. Perfect breakfast for a hot day. My room had a large terace with two chairs and a table. The bathroom was large. The area where the Ubud Bungalows is located is full of cafes, restaurants and bars. Noise from these establischments is minimal. Circle K convenience store and a pharmacy are just across the street. Laundromat about 3 min walk. Who wants to rent a motorcycle, just ask at the front desk. They will arange it for you.
Unforunately there is one major flaw. I wouldn't recomend this hotel for people with walking disabilities because of many stairs. Who is dependent of a wheelchair, seek a different hotel.
