Cap St Georges Hotel & Resort

We had a lovely stay overall. We had three rooms, including an accessible room for my mother, and really appreciated that the hotel made sure it was close to our other two rooms. The wheelchair provided was also a huge help and saved us having to bring one with us. A very special thank you to Nikolas at Kohili Restaurant, who went above and beyond. When there was no transport available late in the evening and my mother couldn’t manage the steps, he made sure she was able to get safely back to the hotel. We were extremely grateful for his kindness. The breakfast team were fantastic and always made sure our family of 12 had a table together. Special mention to Aga, who made sure we were always looked after, and Nadia, one of our lovely servers. The hotel facilities were excellent and we particularly loved the spa, which was brilliant.

For a five\-star hotel, we felt there could have been more flexibility and choice for guests requiring gluten\-free food or those with food allergies\. We had family members with dietary requirements and expected a hotel of this standard to cater more easily and offer a wider selection\. One particular concern at breakfast was that the same pans were being used to prepare omelettes for both meat\-eaters and vegetarians\. Separate pans should really be used to avoid cross\-contamination and to respect guests’ dietary, religious or allergy requirements\. We also found the room\-service menu after 11pm quite limited in terms of choice\. These points didn’t detract from what was overall a very enjoyable stay, but they are areas where we feel a five\-star hotel of this standard could improve\.
