the neighbours are a bit noisy, but hey, this is Italy!

The owner is very friendly and the apartment is very clean and spacious. It's equipped with anything you could want, a large fridge and many appliances. Beds are comfortable and the decoration is lovely.
The location of the apartment is good because it's close to the main station (more on that later) and allows for easy access to the trains. We were also able to easily walk to the old town and the other side of Naples in about 20-30 minutes. Taking a day trip to Pompei or Sorrento was super easy being so close to the main station.
The walls are a bit thin so you can hear the neighbors during the day, but the area and house was quiet at night so no problem with sleeping.
The location close to the main station means the surrounding area does not seem particularly good. Not sure I would feel safe outside at night. This is a subjective opinion though, and we did not have any problems or trouble at all.
Some minor electronic appliances did not work but that was ok, as we were out most of the time anyway.
The elevator does not seem trustworthy, so we took the stairs to the 4th floor :) - not a big deal though, it's just a personal preference.

Fantastic host, very helpful and considerate.
Not a dislike but friendly advice: if you don't speak Italian have google translate or a similar app handy to communicate with your hosts.

The location was ideal and there was space for 3 adults with the two bedrooms. There was aircon in the living room and one bathroom, however this became an issue later on.
The aircon was an issue later one. We were advised of the issue and we were told the technician could not come in time and to just place a towel underneath. We were not aware that there was a bucket out on the balcony to collect the air conditioning water for the one in the bedroom. The water leaked all over the balcony. The air conditioner in the family room was also leaking.
The towels were quiet thin and need replacing.
The shower seal would also leave the bathroom leaking. The electricity plug in the bathroom was not working. The toilet would not flush properly at times. The hairdryer left in the apartment would not plug inside the socket properly. We were not advised that the elevator/ lift needs 5 cents to operate each trip.
Overall, there needs to be improvements and adjustments. We were lucky we only stayed 3 nights, otherwise if it was longer I would not have stayed here.
