Beautiful views and nice location. Spending time with the ducks was great. The addition of the croissant, fresh eggs and fruit juice were a nice added bonus.
Having the bathroom so far away from the cottage. The common kitchen area to wash dishes was not very clean.

The location was perfect, watching the fish in the lake relaxing and feeding the geese was great. Nobody around so totally secluded

The Shepherdess huts are really well equipped & in beautiful & tranquil surroundings with wonderful views around lakes & lots of birds to watch. It was the perfect place to unwind after a hectic working week. Both Mark & Geraldine were very attentive to our needs which included upgrading to a cabin with en-suite facilities. The welcome pack of Milk butter etc & warm rolls & croissants were a lovely addition. We would definitely stay again.
The bed although double was definitely a small one - but obviously in a compact shepherdess hut that’s what you’d expect

The pond, the peace ,the seclusion , the staff all very very good. Wild geese grazing around the place and nature there were beautiful.
The female half did not appreciate the 40 yards to the shower room and toilet. Bed a bit small for two long people ! I think the delightful but simple facilities could have been reflected in the price.
No reflection on the lovely lady who looks after the place. She was great .
