SCAM - Don't pay

it's a scam. No one was there when i reach, and when i called was informed it was over booked. Then next day received a mail saying i didn't show up. Had to escalate with booking.com to get my refund. It's my bad that i didn't read the reviews and deceived by the score and photos.

If you fall for this scam, please escalate with booking.com. Call directly, if email communication didn't work. Booking.com did a good job in resolving this issue. There are nice places to stay in Hartford at similar rates in booking.com.

Parking on and off street Convenient Location (W.Hartford nr interstate) Unbeatable Nightly Rate Nearby shops and grocery Full kitchen for self-catering

Reasons to be considered (not dislikes): -Site used as AirBnB, temp hsng, perm hsng & booking.com listing; -water/ juice pictured not provided; - toilet roll, soap, and towel(1) provided; - iron and ironing board not provided; -Steep, yet sturdy stairs to top floor; -Shared kitchen and bathroom (European style) [not recommended for those who are vegan or kosher (noticeable smell of pork)]; - bed sinks / is saggy and squeaky; - just enough room to lay your head, then leave.

we did not stay here got there was a private house in the middle of a bad area i called the property and the man who answered said hello i asked if i was at the right place he replied yes however we have no room and told me o cancel my reservation i sent an email that included our phone conversation i intend to contact my credit card to dispute the charge we were on the road traveling which will show on my booking .com account just returned home yesterday I STRONGLY suggest you check into this place sincerly John McCarthy

SCAM! DO NOT BOOK! I showed up at this property, contacted the host, then received a call from a different phone number (not the contact number) apologizing and saying that they could not accommodate for the evening. Now they are saying the room was available and refusing to refund my money.

The property owner is a horrible fraud. I was not even able to stay for the one night that I booked. When I paid on booking.com and then arrived at the place, the owner said he couldn’t accommodate me because he was all taken for the night. He said he would later refund me for my money since I couldn’t stay. I later figure out that he marked me as a no-show on booking.com, and would not approve of a refund. Since I had no “proof” that I had in fact arrived at the place, booking.com customer service said there was nothing they could do, and now I am down having paid $72 for a place that could not even accommodate me.

For the price and proximity to downtown, it's great.

i liked how close it was to a lot of placed. especially the downtown area. It was about an 8 minute drive.

The only thing i didn't like was the stairs. They were too small and steep but there was a rail to hold on to.

It was a dangerous dirty place to stay.

the parking was terrible. when you enter the premises the stairs are very narrow. I am an elderly person trying to navigate them.We had the 3rd floor, so it was two of them. To get to the room you had to go thru a dirty kitchen and there was ONLY one bathroom for three rooms. The bathroom was unsanitary cause no one disinfect in between people. We got only one towel, so we couldn’t take a shower. Who would want to cause it was filthy.I had to wait for use the bathroom cause someone was using it and I almost had to urinate on myself. The bathroom had feces on the toilet top so to use I had to disinfect and squat.The bed wasn’t made. The cover had a hole in it with stuffing coming out.It was a heater for heat. The floor was filthy.They had a fire exit that lead to a wall. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Clean and comfortable. Very practical. Nice soap as a gift 🙂

The kitchen besides the room. There were some people cooking a smelly stuff and playing Latino music a long time when I arrived. I was planning to rest, but I just went somewhere. Most important, night was quiet and I slept very well. RV remote was not working.

They check in to see if we needed anything by text and gave you enough privacy. They are also very understanding overall the best place to stay at and is very clean and sanitary.

If yo want peace of mind and a happy wallet, stay away from this place, book somewhere else.

The price seems okay.

They charged me anyway for not showing up and they were the one who texted me saying that day was full and they even told me over the phone that they'll cancel the booking. Which never happened and I'm still trying to fight the charges.

the room was super clean and the staff was nice. there are some supermarkets near and a really big international community in the region.

the bathroom is shared with the people who lives in the house, kind of discomfortable but ok.
