Amazing staff, food, happy hour prices, pool, and location to Semuc Champey!
We are in our late 30s and the majority of people here are in their 20s but it was a great vibe with lots of space on the property to be social or have quiet time.
We booked a private cabin and really enjoyed it! It was away from the noise at night time.
Food options were great and portions were large. Happy. Hour prices were also great with the pool bar open during happy hour.
Night was a bit hot one night but the bed was comfortable and the shower water pressure was great. We stayed in cabin 8 and loved it.
They even gave out welcome beers which was needed after a long travel day to Lanquin.
Nothing- it’s a hostel/hotel in the jungle. Just know what you are booking and be prepared to be in nature and you will love it!

It was a lovely and amazing stay, I could not be more happy with my stay. The people there were very kind as well (staff and guess included). The staff were amazing and accomodating
The tab system is a bit dangerous since you don’t know how much you owe until the end but everything was still a fair price

It’s a very nice place to meet other travellers and the place itself is amazing, it was one of the greatest place I stayed at, I really recommend !
I think the scale to climb the upper beds are dangerous
And they don’t allow food inside (because of the bugs) keep that in mind

Great location near to Semuc Champey (but a bumpy ride from Lanquin)
Lots of good places to relax
Chocolate trip organised at reception
Loud music (the windows are mesh not glass)
Miscommunication about hot water (we found out on our last day that the shower needs to run for 5 mins or more to get hot)
No info about gluten free food.... they had gf pasta but it's not on the menu!
