It’s actually a very nice flat in a good city centre location. It was clean and comfortable and well equipped.
The building it’s in actually isn’t great - filthy corridor that smelled of boiled cabbage and weed, and a stain that looked like blood half way along it. A pity. Be aware that the owner requires a breakage deposit even though you’ve booked via booking.com - it did say that in the T’s and C’s but not prominently at all. I would not have booked it had I known I’d have to suddenly fork out roughly 100% of the cost of renting the flat as a deposit.

Everything - It was spotless, the bedding smelt so fresh, the entire apartment smelt nice. The view was great. Appliances such as kettle toaster cooker iron hair dryer, they were all clean and in great condition. The location was ideal for our stay. Host was great, prompt replies and updates throughout our stay.
The apartment was slightly warm, however a fan was present and all doors open, so it was easily sorted! :)

Nice spec bathrooms and kitchen but a plug for the kitchen sink would be good !
Car park tricky - only one of given parking spaces were free and almost impossible to get into due to badly parked vehicles. We saw people in sleeping bags sleeping in the car park on the floor. Lift to apartment was full of litter. Hallways looked like my daughter’s halls of residence at uni - tatty and grimey and had a certain aroma of fragrant cigarettes. Reaching our apartment there seemed to be food spillage marks on door frames. Inside the paintwork is tired, not sure if the skirting was dirty or in need of a refresh. The window in the twin room had a sheet to cover it - not great and left the room in constant darkness. Bathroom - the vanity mirror base was rusty, the soap dispenser was grimy around the pump and all mirrors were very smeary. Didn’t like the replacement laundry ’stuffed’ into the kitchen cupboards - didn’t suggest freshness. These are small things but were distracting to our stay. We couldn’t get the intercom phone to work when letting My daughter in, not sure if it’s working.
