I loved the room I stayed at, it had a DC superheroes mural. It had air-conditioning, a smart TV where I could cast my streaming services I subscribe to, a comfortable bed, and the room and showers were clean. It is in a handy location, 15 minutes walk from the Adelaide bus terminal, a 15 minute walk to Rundle Mall and also close to buses going to all parts of Adelaide.
Whenever I phoned Lin and David (the caretakers of the property) they didn't answer my call so I used the booking.com app to communicate with them, they answered all my questions. There was also a problem with the front door of the building but they were aware of it and will fix it.

the location was good and good value for money.
the towels were quite thin, and no kettle, but no milk, tea or coffee, kettle not provided in our room which I think is very normal to have. I know they had a kitchen which was usable with all amenities but if you wanted to have a cup of coffee you needed to take your coffee up the stairs to your room. Hard to connect the owners to ask questions.

I guess for the price the value is fair. The common bathrooms were kept clean.
The room was overdue for a good clean and the whole place seems like it could use a refresh. The walls are very thin so you can hear people rumbling at night which was disturbing.
