A wonderful, peaceful hideaway with stunning views
The location is excellent if you don’t mind mountain roads. Our room was very spacious, with a comfortable double bed, air conditioning (!) and a big bathroom with both a bathtub and a shower. The views over the mountains and the coastal bay were absolutely beautiful, even from the windows of our room.
The private parking is really valuable in this area with its narrow mountain roads. At the same time, a car is absolutely not essential: public bus stops right in front of the house. There is a direct connection to Menton, from where you can easily continue by train or public transport to many places along the coast.
We especially loved the oasis-like garden and the swimming pool. The garden is full of Mediterranean plants and fruit trees, including figs, avocados and lemons. Even the delicious breakfast jam was made from figs grown in the garden.
We have stayed in many places during our previous trips; however, it is rare to meet a host as warm, kind and welcoming as Denise. She made us feel truly comfortable during our stay.
It is a very special, secluded and charming place that we are more than happy to recommend to anyone.

Savršen smeštaj! 10/10 Velika prednost ovog smeštaja je što je u mirnom kraju okruzen planinama i omogucava miran i tih borakavak a odlicno je povezan sa gradom pa tako do centra Mentona mozete stici vec za 20ak minuta autobusom koji staje ispred smeštaja. Odličan je za pravi miran odmor a ako poželite lako možete vozom do obližnjih mesta jer je transport veoma jednostavan i brz. Denise je bila bas prijatan domaćin, a doručak koji ona sprema je bio super. Sobe su veoma fine, imaju dovoljno prostora i sa pogledom na more i planine su. Dvorište je veoma slatko kao mala oaza a ima i bazen. Mesto je savršeno za pravi odmor a Menton je presladak gradić. Sigurno ćemo se vratiti ponovo!
Povezanost smeštaja sa gradom je odlična i autobusi idu po redu vožnje, samo ukoliko imate vremenski planirane obaveze proverite red vožnje jer je poslednji autobus iz Mentona za Castrlar u 19.30h. Red vožnje je okej i možete stici sve da obidjete i uskladite sa redom voznje ali ukoliko ne stignete uber je oko 17-20 evra i stize veoma brzo. U blizini smešta je lokalna picerija kod okretnice autobusa koja služi veoma finu picu. Preporuka je poneti sprej ili narukvicu za komarce.

Pleasant owner
Only two restaurants in the villages serving standard foods and the nearest city is slightly far away to go out for dinner.
Overall, the property is a little bit overpriced considering the location and facilities.
