The space and location.

The hotel was in a great location, easy access by train, it was just a short walk from Ebisucho station. In addition, you could walk out to Shinsekai (pictured) for the night vibes, markets or izakaya. Hit up Nipponbashi for a bit of shopping, plenty of options here for electronics or collectibles, with a plethora of restaurants and cafes around.
If you fancy a bit of a walk (20 - 25 mins), you'll find yourself at Namba, or Dotonbori. The room was absolutely huge by Japan standards, throughout our 3 week trip, this was easily the largest room and was more like a service apartment, with a kitchenette, separate toilet + bathroom as well as laundry facilities. There was also space for a dining area and a balcony over looking city views. The staff were polite and friendly and whilst unable to offer the luggage forwarding service, still assisted us by filling out the documentation and calling ahead to our next hotel to advise of our luggage being sent.
Not so much a complaint, but as above, just be aware that this place does not offer a full hotel service. You get 1x complimentary room clean for your stay, and as above, they were unable to facilitate luggage forwarding directly, so we used the closest 7-11 instead. That said, they do accept luggage being forwarded to them.

Big spacious rooms with a washing machine and big fridge
Room smelt like fish, bought air freshener but it didn’t mask the smell. Beds were uncomfy and pillows were hard. Like sleeping on bricks. I think these rooms are a bit over priced.
