Accommodatie ligt in de winkelstraat van Honfleur, op loopafstand van leuke bezienswaardigheden en eettentjes. Inchecken ging soepel met een code voor de toegangsdeur en een sleutelkastje bij het appartement. Ruime woonkeuken, apart toilet en ruime zithoek. Op de bovenste etage waren 2 ruime slaapvertrekken met ieder een eigen douche. De bedden waren prima. We hebben geen geluidsoverlast ervaren van buitenaf.
De toegang naar de accommodatie ziet er wat griezelig uit, die bevindt zich in een soort steegje. Het is vrij lastig om dichtbij de accommodatie te parkeren om er even je koffers uit te laden en naar het appartement/binnen te brengen. Parkeren in Honfleur is ook vrij prijzig, namelijk €40,- euro per dag. Achter de toegangsdeur zit een vrij smalle houten wenteltrap en de accommodatie bevindt zich op de 2e etage. De toilet staat wat hoger in de toiletruimte, je moet daar eerst 2 trapjes nemen. Om de toiletdeur van binnen te sluiten moet je wat voorover bukken. De 2 gele stoeltjes in het zitgedeelte zaten onder de vlekken en zagen er niet fris uit. Van 1 van de 1 persoons bedden was een poot los.

First of all the location of the apartment is wonderful. You step out into the street in the morning where you can get your baguette, your coffee, buy incredible fresh fruit and vegetables in the Saturday market and wonder the amazing historical streets of Honfleur. The town is a gem and it exceeded our expectations in terms how picturesque, clean and so well looked after it was. We kept thinking we are in a fairy tale, being surrounded by the beautifully kept historical houses.
The apartment itself is on 2 floors, the kitchen and lounge are spacious and there is a wall in the middle so also offer certain privacy between the 2 rooms the toilet is also on this floor. Upstairs in the attic are 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, which served us well. We didn't meet the host/agency, but they were very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. We absolutely loved Honfleur and would come back to stay in the apartment.
The rooms in the attic could get quite warm, but luckily the nights were cool and with the open windows it was fine. I would have like to have some hangers and option to hang some of our clothes. Lastly the apartment doesn't have a washing machine, but we were all happy for the dishwasher;-)
