Exceptional

The cottage was clean, cozy, and the bed was comfortable! A block from the harbor was wonderful! The neighborhood was a little questionable but the value of the stay was great!

Closeness to a lot of restaurants and a nice park.

A variety of restaurants all around. Shady neighborhood.

Shady neighborhood. Couldn’t use the fridge as it was crowded by a dryer and wall. Night lighting could have been better. Foot of the bed against the door.

Rough neighborhood.. would not stay again.

Bedding had not been changed, one wall unit a/c & heat for whole house, very slow internet..could not stream movies, cats living under house, could not open refrigerator door due to hitting wall, could not use bedroom door due to bed in the way!

Good

Location was good. Liked the room it had to offer. Liked the Washer and Dryer and the back area where we used a charcoal grill to cook dinner.

The air conditioner kicked on and off constantly during the night. Dark out front of the home. Could not get light to come on. No gas bottle for the grill.

fortunat we only used the location to sleep at, we were out all day, left one day earlier.

no breakfast available

the outside apperance was overgrown, the entire building was sitting on small concrete deck blocks, the building needs work in and out..

Superb

Scott the host is excellent- very responsive, kind, and accommodating. The location for Punta Gorda/Port Charlotte activities is excellent and the park/ocean is a short walk down the street. Cute little cottage.

No heat in the bedroom. Scott brought over a heating blanket expeditiously and probably not an issue most of the year when warm, but it in all fairness it was a very cold weekend. There was a faint smell of wet dog or mildew, not sure which one…but the house was very clean and neat other than the smell when we arrived. Also don’t park on the left driveway….the long term neighbor in the unit behind us asked us to move our car.

we were happy to have found somewhere to stay for the Thanksgiving Holiday and it was close to all family members. All i

close to family, and could walk to charlotte harbor.

when arriving noticed no microwave, no toaster, no coffee pot maker or hair dryer as listed on the website. Called the host he did bring all items, then when doing wash found out the dryer didn’t work very disappointing.

Superb

Location! We're from Chattanooga, Tn. (Almost 700 mile trip) We were there to visit our son and his family, so we wanted somewhere fairly close to him. Loved that it had a park close by, 1 block away. That gave us time with the grandkids. The location to stores and restaurants was great. Quaint little house, remodeled very neat.

The air condition was not on when we arrived. So it was very hot in the house. We realize how hot central to south Florida is, we visit our family alot. I feel the air should have been on from the time I was informed the house ready for me. Maybe invest in sun blocking shades. Other than that my stay was good.

Could use a few improvements, but overall a great place to stay!

The property was very clean. The location couldn’t have been better! There was a nice amount of privacy with how the back area was set up. I would definitely stay here again.

There was no microwave which I thought was odd seeing as most people on vacation eat out, then warm up leftovers. The plumbing in the bathroom was awful. You can’t put anything in the toilet or you will be plunging. The property really needs some blackout curtains being that the front is an addition and the home uses a window air unit, the heat from the windows could get pretty warm.
