The owner of the house is nice but the rental company is irresponsible. Terrible.

The location was excellent. The access was easy. The bedrooms are on the ground floor, which saved us as we were able to get out when the place caught fire. The place is poorly built and the poor construction led to a fire when the bathroom fan caught fire during the night. It burned into the ceiling causing a structure fire. We were forced into the street then the fire department arrived. They extinguished the fire but the place was not habitable.

The rental company, INITIAL gave me instructions to disconnect the smoke detector when it was chirping. I did not do that which saved our lives. The alarm alerted us to the fire. when I notified the company we were on the street it took hours for them to respond. They did give us an inferior place to stay with no towels or bedside lighting. Very poorly managed. Also, the place is advertised as having a pool, which it DOES NOT HAVE in the winter. This is clearly false advertising.
