The Volta Suite with a private pool was very beautiful. Breakfast had to be ordered by phone one day in advance, and there was a decent selection to choose from. The breakfast itself was okay, although nothing particularly special. The pool seemed to be heated, which was a great bonus. Having our own private yard was lovely, and the area was very peaceful. We also didn’t hear any noise from the neighbours.
We stayed as a group of six and, based on the photos, we thought we were booking a two-storey villa where everyone would be staying together. However, when we arrived, we found out that the upper floor was actually a separate unit, accessed by an outdoor staircase. This meant that half of our group essentially had to stay separately, which was quite disappointing.
Another thing we found disappointing was that there were no proper duvets in the rooms. Usually, hotels provide nice, cosy, fluffy white duvets, but here there were only sheets, which felt a bit basic and uncomfortable.
The air conditioning in one of the rooms also didn’t work.

I liked the different options for breakfast. The location was great. The beach was about 3 minutes walking and there was a strip with many stores. Found another strip of stores and a market which was about 10 minutes walking. The hot tub was relaxing and the colored lights made it more fancy. The pool was warm and not freezing cold. The sauna and the outdoor gym was a great bonus. The staff was great in responding to my questions any time of the day and very accommodating. The largest Waterpark was about 12 minutes away which was also great.
The hot water in the shower got warm/ cool and we couldn't get it hot even after flipping the breaker on. We had 4 people in the room and after the first person took a shower, the water stayed cool. The mosquitoes ate us up at night. I didn't like how the housekeepers opened the doors/ windows. The a/c wasn't working and noticed it will turn on once you closed the doors. The last night, the a/c wasn't blowing cold air in the living room area where my boys slept at.
