Decorated beautifully and Maria was gracious and kind to meet us at train station and bring us to apartment. It was convenient to the Duomo and Via Mercantile, so plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby.
It was very hot in Italy when we went and there’s nothing to be done about that, but Air conditioning is only in the bedroom, not the whole apartment.
No elevator to the apartment, but there is one about 1/4 mile walk or about 10 mins that will get you to the street, but not very well marked.
Hostess was very responsive and gracious, but does not speak English m, so have your Google translator handy.
Not the property, and we were in Old town area, but found Salerno to be gritty and in dire need of erasing graffiti (especially Antifa!) and COVERED with cigarette butts. We left a day early due to pending train service strike, but two nights and two days is enough to see the town.

We had a wonderful stay at A Casa di Stella and truly felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and very well located for exploring Salerno and the Amalfi Coast.
What stood out most was Maria’s kindness and hospitality. She was incredibly helpful, responsive, and genuinely caring throughout our stay. Small gestures like offering to pick us up from the station made such a difference and made us feel at ease right away.
You can tell Maria really cares about her guests and wants them to have a good experience. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend A Casa di Stella to anyone visiting Salerno. Thank you again, Maria!

Gentilezza di Maria che ci aspettava. Appartamento attrezzatissimo, non mancava niente, letto comodissimo, vista mare in lontananza dalla camera molto piacevole, buona posizione in centro, raccomando al 100% questo alloggio per scoprire Salerno e i suoi dintorni, sembrava di essere nella propria casa di vacanza. Grazie ancora!

Fantastic location, was met at the station by the owner, who gave us directions to everything we needed, including the location of the public lift (5 mins walk away). 5 minute walk to supermarkets and plenty of other shops nearby.
The apartment had a well stocked kitchen, quiet balcony off the kitchen and a comfy bed. Had read that there were lots of stairs from the old town up to the apartment, there are 57 steps and it is not a big deal!
N/A other than having to check out and go home!
