I stayed in a ground floor, very quiet, single occupancy apartment situated to the rear of the building. The Aparthotel is well located with easy access to the U-Bahn. A Netto supermarket is less than 2 minutes away. The room was exceptionally clean and provided everything I needed for my stay including a fridge …. a blessing in the hot weather. I was able to keep the room cool by closing the shutters and opening the windows at night.
After my initial 3 nights I decided to extend my stay and contacted the Aparthotel by mobile. The staff member spoke English and was very professional and helpful. Fortunately, I was able to continue my stay at Aparthotel Villa Elon.
I will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend Villa Elon.
The single mattress was very soft which might not suit everyone.

Location was fantastic next to supermarket and Jakobinenstraße station. Keeping a 150 year old building in working confition is commendable. ROOM IS BIG COMPARED TO OTHER PLACES.
Beds are small , house keeping does not exist, this would be the only negative point, had to use the limited towels for 4 days straight

Big apartment, bright bathroom, close to underground station and city center
We stayed when it was -6 outside. It was very cold inside as well even with fully on radiators. You fill a draught with closed windows, blinds and door in room.
The apartment is located on ground floor with no noise isolation from outside. The street is not very busy during the night, but still you hear all cars and each person who is passing by and talks on phone. As it is a supermarket next door you can hear how trucks deliver goods at 6 am on Saturday morning.
