This was probably one of the best places I have ever stayed and I have travelled around the world multiple times. Very quiet area, beautiful views of the ocean, beautiful home with tons of room, and it literally has everything you need. You know how when you stay in some places and it might as well be a hospital room, not this one! It is a home and it feels like a home. My family and I stayed here for a weaving workshop that happened to be just up the road and it was WONDERFUL!! Absolutely love this place and would stay here again 100%.

The holiday home was lovely and homely with amazing views of the sea and plenty of space. The location was brilliant for accessing Stornoway whilst being a great base for exploring the islands of Lewis and Harris. There are some fantastic walks direct from the house including a lovely walk to the beach. The owners were great, friendly and knowledgeable, answering any questions we had. It was a fantastic stay and we will definitely be staying again.
The only comments we would make is that it would of been great to have had a room with 2 singles as opposed to all rooms having a double bed in it. That isn't something we didn't like just a preference we would of liked. The downstairs electric shower pressure is quite poor but the upstairs shower from the mains is better. There really wasn't anything to dislike about the property or our experience.

Great location, on quiet street with bus stop close by. Could see ocean from house, sheep grazing. Lovely wee gift basket on arrival with a selection of local foods. House is spacious with 2 1/2 bathrooms, picnic table outside. Stornoway is a close drive about 10 minutes, we ordered groceries online before we arrived and had them delivered once we got there. Kitchen had all the appliances required to make family meals. Dining area we could sit together. 2 large living rooms. We were 3 houses away from my sister, brother in law and family who live on the Isle of Lewis. Multiple beaches, some of them we had to ourselves, white sand, turquoise water, beautiful stones and rocks.
Leaving the house and the island and returning back to Canada.
