The Hotel Borgo Impero was an absolute gem of a find on our road trip. From the warm friendly welcome to the beautifully designed airy spacious accommodation (with crisp white cotton sheets that honestly are the height of luxury) we felt very lucky to have found the hotel. Even luckier was the fact that we had booked a table for dinner because the restaurant soon filled up with happy people. The food was just exquisite the presentation of each dish simply beautiful. You can taste the skill passion and love of the food that must come from the chefs. The people serving the food are both knowledgable about the wine and food they kind and attentive.They worked in harmony with each other in such a way that it lent a calm yet exciting atmosphere. If you get the opportunity go to this hotel you will be truly happy .

Le camere, lo stile
Il ristorante. Siamo arrivati dopo un lungo viaggio, ci saremmo contentati anche di un sandwich se non era possibile dí più ( locale ancora in servizio) ma il personale è stato sgradevolmente irremovibile e ci ha negato l’accesso. Anzi, nelle more di una risposta, ci ha fatto uscire dal locale. Non ho parole. Ospitalità zero!!!

The delicious dinner and very very special visit to his cellar with the owner.
It was unexpecred and he is an exceptional person in what he has created. That he shared it with us was a real pleasure.
