We both loved everything about our stay and it made for three very enjoyable days in the Aussie bush.

Beautifully designed large lodges in the most magical setting. Each lodge is surrounded by native trees and plentiful bird life. Loved the various seating areas around the grounds where you can enjoy the different aspects and peace. Staff were all welcoming.

Breakfast was very good. The locally sourced items were fantastic and our host made a mean coffee! The facilities were very well-appointed and clean. The whole weekend was very restful. The hosts were wonderful and very accommodating. The apple tea on a cold and rainy afternoon was most welcome.

The provision of cooked items, such as eggs, would have been well received. While the bed was comfortable, one consideration might be to include an electric blanket for the cooler months, but that could just be self-criticism for being intolerant of cold. Also, noticed that the heated floors in the bathroom did not extend to the lavatory area. Overall, had it not been for the survey, I would not have provided any negative feedback since the stay was amazing. The one factor that was a little disappointing was the picnic that was organised. While it was delicious, and we did not go hungry, when organising for 4 x couples, the $1,560 picnic cost was very overpriced.
