Great location close to many restaurants and night spots. The onsen is a great way to relax after a long day. The rooftop bar is a treat as well

Lovely cosy room, beautiful pyjamas for my room and yukata to wear around the hotel and to onsen. The roof top terrace was amazing. Great views of Kyoto whilst relaxing my feet in the spring water baths underneath the countertop whilst sipping on a cocktail. Easy walking distance to Nishiki markets, Ponchoto Alley and the many shrines. I would also highly recommend the Ninja Food tour of Nishiki markets, this was eye opening and a great insight to Kyoto food and culture.
The views from my room were just rooftops, however the window was covered by a beautiful Shoji screen that blocked the view, still letting the natural light in. The room was also quite small, but ok for this single traveller.

Superb location, beautiful rooftop terrace, open-air onsen. Very nice place.
No restaurant and breakfast boxes only.

No flexibility in cancelling my ordered breakfast or adding 2 more breakfast for children.
Staff not able to help. We wasted money on food.
I was asked to leave terrace because we dis not want a drink and dis not know about table charge. Staff very unprofessional
