Isla del Sol is fantastic as it is and I decided to stay a little longer than most people. I enjoyed the location of this lodge at the top of the hill and close to the restaurants and hiking trails in several directions. It felt secluded and quiet and the staff was a wonderful family!

It was beautiful property, rooms, clean and beautiful views.
Breakfast as good but because of the situation of Bolivia could be better, nothing to complain.
The dishonest of the stuff, we booked a night for $34 usd and when we arrived they overcharged us for $75 usd saying it was better for them to charge in usd instead bolivianos, as Australians we not carry usd so for us in the end cost much more than we were willing to pay for one night. Not recommended.

Fantastic room, comfy beds, lovely people and a delicious breakfast with an amazing view of the lake. Situated in the heart of Yacuma but very peaceful.

We liked everything, the room, the location, the people, the view was stunning. It is excellent value for money. The breakfast was great. It is a further walk up the hill than many other hostels but it is truly worth it and then you're already up high to start a walk. Thank you wara utu Lodge 😊
