Nestled in Qualicum Beach, this attractive cottage for $134 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Come visit Qualicum Beach located on beautiful Vancouver Island, Canada. Rest and enjoy in your own private suite and patio; semi attached to back of main house residence. Nestled within a 2 1/2 acre lot, surrounded by woods, hiking /bike trails, creek and a pond. An oasis in nature but close to town amenities, golfing and minutes away from the beach. -All linens, laundry, Netflix & 58" TV, fast 300Mbps WiFi, gas BBQ, ample private parking included. Unfortunately due to local ordinance we can no longer offer a stove but have provided a hot plate and toaster oven. -We may be able to offer discounts on longer stays; please contact owner. Beautiful, private, comfortable cottage, with everything that you could possibly need. Excellent base for visiting the island. As soon as we arrived we relaxed and really enjoyed our stay. We met the owners once and they were very friendly and ensured we were settling in.

This property is located in a very quiet, forested property. It is new construction with a high level of finish and the accommodations are very comfortable and well laid out for guests. The hosts are easy to contact and they are very helpful if you have any questions.

We just got home from a lovely week long stay at this beautifully furnished cottage. We would 100% stay there again next time we visit Qualicum Beach. It had all the amenities needed, was spacious for our family of four and had a fantastic backyard for the kids to run around. Geraldine and her family are the most welcoming hosts - we can’t wait to come back soon!

Overall we had a great stay. Kitchen is well stocked and the entire unit is new and clean. The knives were even sharp! Both beds are firm! I would have preferred it being closer to the beach or being in a more walkable area.

Claymore Cottage is amazing. While the photos are a good representation, you have to be there to truly experience the magic. During our 8-night stay, my friend and I wanted to have some family members who live in the area for dinner. Each time we thought of a dish to prepare, we assumed the kitchen was not equipped to accommodate what we hoped to do. Boy, were we wrong - all the conveniences of home and equipped to put together a lovely dinner. The privacy was exceptional. We barbecued steaks on the gas grill provided, and enjoyed the peaceful outdoor patio. The patio faces an exquisite forested area and is completely private from the main house. The landscaping was recently completed and is very well thought out…can’t wait to see it as it matures. Every morning we awakened to deer and bunnies grazing on the property - such tranquility. The Cottage itself is immaculate and spacious. The large main bedroom has a king bed and double closets, while the secondary bedroom has a queen bed and a large, single closet. There is storage galore and lots and lots of towels, and dinner dishes to serve 12, so you won’t have to run the dishwasher everyday. In suite laundry is available, so pack light. Geraldine and Kris have provided a beautiful sanctuary - a home away from home. While the Cottage is very private and peaceful, it’s just 3 to 5 short minutes from the beach and from the heart of downtown Qualicum Beach. I highly recommend you come experience the magic first hand. Enjoy.

Geraldine’s suite is the PERFECT place to relax while on vacation. What an absolutely beautiful spot to stay. It was quiet, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Geraldine & her family were so kind and helpful. We had the best stay and I would come back again whenever visiting the Island. Thank you, Geraldine!

We had a great stay at Claymore cottage. The cottage is quite new, modern and very well-kept, extremely clean, has all the amenities you can want! fully equipped kitchen, outdoor barbecue, gas fireplace is lovely ambiance in the evening, air conditioning, a great asset during the hot summer months . Bed was firm, but comfortable and we slept well. Very peaceful and quiet on a larger property even though there is a nearby subdivision, still very quiet. Cannot even hear the hosts. Many deer and rabbits in the nearby treed areas often walking through the grounds. It was a great, jumping off point for us to explore Qualicum and surrounding areas. Thanks Geraldine and we hope to be back one day.

We were looking for a nice quiet place to unwind and we found it! Our hosts couldn’t have been nicer and Claymore cottage was perfect with everything we could think we might need. Cleanliness was a 10⭐️ beds were firm with no sagging. The whole experience was a 10 star rating. Thanks so much to Geraldine and Kris we look forward to coming back to stay again

We came to Qualicum on a sad trip so it was so comforting to have such a lovely clean place to stay. Geraldine was an excellent host and has outfitted her place with great detail and care. I am an extremely fussy person so when I say this place was top notch it really is. The best part is the location. My husband and I strolled about and found a beautiful old train bridge and pathway to the water. Thank you so much for making our trip as good as it could possibly be.

Very clean and comfortable accommodation in a very quiet neighbourhood. Geraldine was great to deal with and everything was as advertised.
We were visiting family in the area during our stay, who, after seeing the cottage, said they would be recommending it to other guests that came out to visit them.

This is the first time using a vacation rental property and this amazing place has definitely set the bar high for further stays anywhere else. The check in and check out processes were easy.
The personal touches were unbelievable. The space was perfect and wonderfully quiet to wind down at the end of the day. The back patio was nice to BBQ and relax. The rabbits in the yard were fun to watch and the night before we left 2 deer walked through the woods just meters of the back patio.
The place went above and beyond our expectations. The place is private and quiet - a definite must try for a vacation on Vancouver Island!

Geraldine's property was an absolute joy to stay in, very clean and homey, with plenty of amenities so we were comfortable and able to easily cook at the accommodation. The property backing onto a forest was so relaxing, to look out onto while having a wine or reading a book in front of the fire.
Geraldine provided excellent instructions for how to get to the accommodation and use the amenities.

We were in the iffy of moving to Vancouver Island & our possession date was not until the middle of the month.
It was a delight staying in the carriage house where the amenities were top notch, from the kitchen appliances to the kitchen wares.
The king size bed was very comfortable & there were plenty of towels .
The fireplace was a welcome addition to come “home” to after the many hikes down to the ocean along trails so close to our stay.
All in all we certainly would recommend this property to anyone!

We have to give this property 2 thumbs up. It is as advertised and then some. We both were very pleased with having your own patio with very comfortable furniture, which we used daily.....10 stars on that for sure. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need (high end) You are mid island to explore the middle/northern part of the island. Thank you for sharing your home with us

This is an amazing vacation home. Geraldine and Kris are friendly, considerate hosts. We were welcomed with cookies from a local bakery and fresh flowers. The house is set up with all of the amenities you would find at your own home. The kitchen has all everything you need to make all your meals along with a bbq. There are plenty of towels including those to take to the beach. The laundry is a bonus. I would definitely return here when vacationing in the area.

Our family of four stayed here for five nights. The house was spotless, well appointed and had lots of thoughtful touches. We especially enjoyed sitting on the backyard patio and watching the rabbits and deer in the woods. Also a great location for day trips to Parksville, Nanaimo and Cathedral Grove and a quick drive down to the beach for a sunset dip. Highly reccomend this rental.

Queit Neighborhood, Beautiful Property, Great Location
The suite is new and surrounding property beautifully landscaped. The location is perfect if you're plans are to travel around the island. The property owners were kind and very helpful with everything during our stay. We couldn't of asked for a better experience. I highly recommend staying at this property. We will definitely book again next year.

This is the cleanest, most well equipped, well furnished, comfortable stay I have ever been to. It’s so clean that I let me children roll on the floor. Other pluses include new building with new furnishing, comfy bed, air conditioning, pre connected netflix, comfy shower, washing machine and dryer, kcup coffee , lemon poppy seed cake to welcome you, sighting of deer and bunny etc. Highly recommended.

A lovely, quiet. spot with all amenities needed for a home away from home stay. Spotlessly clean and modern and totally comfortable. We felt relaxed and warmly welcomed. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores in less than a 10 minute drive. Qualicum Beachfront is gorgeous and accessible - a 5 minute drive away.
