This was the perfect location to the French quarter. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to do! Apartment felt like traditional Nola with a modern twist. My friends and I loved it for a weekend getaway!

Great location. The property was set up differently from any other I've stayed just because you have to walk through a business to get access to your stay. All good people though. Parking is crazy!!! I wish I knew ahead of time that there is a parking lot literally across the street that is not listed on the information links given. There is no detergent for washing cloths but a very nice washer/dryer set. Overall it was a good stay in a good location that is a walking distance to everything in and around the French Quarters.

Easy check in. The coffee shop/bar downstairs is very cute! We could walk everywhere! Would definitely stay again!

Peefect walking distance to Bourbon St, we felt safe, and the property was spotless.

Will definitely book again when visiting NOLA. Safe and quiet area. Easy to check in.

The location is perfect for a first timer. Close to the main Canal Main Street, trolly line, theater, tour line, and French Quarter! There is a darling cafe/ bar downstairs. Quiet neighborhood besides the big trucks. The apartment was 99.9% clean with the exception of a white stain on the sofa. We never sat there or watched TV. No streaming services available, but really you don’t have time to watch any TV in this gorgeous city!
Check in and check out is VERY convenient, Highly recommend!

First unit was very clean, bathrooms newly remodeled were great. Problem was storage. No closets shelves or drawers. Master had two tiny tops and nothing under the, at least the other two rooms had a drawer below. Some hooks were provided but not enough. For a 3bed unit it only had one cough to sit on. Pictures showed end tables and another chair to sit in but wasn’t in our unit. So 1person in our group had to sit on the floor. Laundry unit was new. Wood floors made noise from other units travel to ours, wasn’t as big or new as pictures indicated.
3.0
It worked for what we needed but probably won’t stay again.
Pros: Great location. Nice layout. Easy access to extra necessities. In unit laundry was nice. Reasonable price.
Cons: Not enough storage. Uneven floors. Uncomfortable beds. Broken elevator. TV didn’t work frequently. Individual room heat and cooling, but they all had to be set the same.

This small 3 bedroom/2 bath apartment was what we wanted & needed in visiting NOLA. It had a primary bedroom with a queen bed & en suite bath with a walk-in shower. The bathroom had a fan & lighted mirror. The bedroom is interior, but there was a window at ceiling level to the kitchen area, which provided more light (good/ bad depending on time of day). The second bedroom had a queen bed, but no window. The third bedroom had a queen bed & a window. It also had a full length mirror. There was a lot of street noise - mostly revving car engines and trash trucks with clanging dumpsters - so earplugs are recommended. These 2 bedrooms shared a bath with a bathtub/shower combo. There is a kitchen with plenty of glasses, plates & bowls, silverware, knives, and cooking pots/pans & utensils. My son made scrambled eggs every morning, but we did have to buy spray oil. There was a fridge/freezer combo, a microwave, a stovetop with range oven, a small dishwasher, and a toaster. There was a coffee maker with coffee (enough for 2 full pots), sugar & creamer. The kitchen had a glass table with 4 chairs, The attached living room had a couch - can seat 3 - & an extra chair. There is a smart tv, with some streaming services loaded (Disney+, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Peacock & some Google free channels). The location was good, on the edge of the French Quarter, an approx 15 min walk to Jackson Square.

Great location. Quick walk to Bourbon

Great location (short walk to food and fun, but not too close). 3 bedrooms with queen beds (no twin beds) was perfect for us.

Location was perfect as was the condo. Bar and coffee bar restaurant were very cool. Great place to stay.

The bed was comfortable. It just wasn’t the cleanest. There was a dead roach on one of the bedroom floors and I noticed a leg in one of the towels. At least they were dead. The master shower inner handle was also broke. Tried sending a message but was unsure if it made it through. Started a chat but it was late the night we arrived and not sure if anyone actually got it. It was enjoyable otherwise.

even if no parking on site, easy to find one once on the site. only little deception; no windows in the rooms, and no view from the windows in the living room, except for a view on containers.. but since we were only there to sleep, not a real problem
very quiet place even if over a café/bar
and very clean.. we recommand it
we had an issue about heating, but received a prompt answer from the responsible and we could easily arrange the problem
also little problem with the key pad, that was a little worn

Location worked great to walk to the Superdome and to various neighborhoods.
This place is great for people who travel light as there isn’t room for much luggage if you have more than one adult per bedroom.

We had an absolutely wonderful time during our stay in New Orleans and at the Schaeffer. The coffee shop/bar downstairs was a cool place to hang out and just far enough from Bourbon Street. The room was spacious and cozy at the same time and it fit our family’s needs. I can see how it may be less comfortable for people who need a more open space, or travelers with a lot of luggage, since the rooms do not have closets or storage space. The good thing is that you have a washer and dryer so you can travel light and still have clean clothes to wear. We would definitely stay at the Schaeffer again and I will look for other Sonder properties around the country for future travels.

GREAT value for the price we got for the week. Very walkable to the Quarter, CBD, and other areas, secure building, small rooftop pool, wine bar downstairs...overall, a great location! The walls did seem a bit thin, but the noise was not an issue. Would stay again!

The location was perfect and unit was beautiful. We loved the neighborhood bar on the ground floor. Keep in mind you will have to pay for parking. About $40 a night

This was the perfect home base for a girls trip to NOLA. There was plenty of space for the 3 of us and the location was within walking distance of so many sights and delicious restaurants. The living room area is a little small, but all in all a comfortable space. The check in directions were clear and easy to follow and the space was very clean. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for accommodations in New Orleans.

Great location with easy walking. Some construction going on around the area but doesnt effect the apartment. We felt safe the whole time. The beds were very comfortable.

This place was absolutely perfect! Peaceful, quiet, within walking distance to everything! We will be back!

The place was super. Clean, convenient to the quarter.

Location was great distance to Bourbon St.
Great to have a bar in same building but information was not listed. We arrived at midnight and was awkward walking children through bar to get to room after someone threw up right outside main entrance. A separate entrance would make it great for after hours arrival. Trying to haul suitcases and coolers through bar was not convenient. Pool area was wonderful and relaxing but water was freezing. I realize it was November but was hopeful for warm water since it was 80 out. Overall great stay, just wished the added details were included to avoid the scare/shock my kids had.

Nice property. Great for a small group. Reservations and check in process easy. Location a little more on the fringe of the quarter than expected. Bar downstairs is very loud.

This property overall was just a disappointment. We had issues with both of the showers. One leaked terribly and the one the shower valve hardly worked to activate the shower. We messaged the host and they did send someone out to "fix" it but it still leaked and he said he couldnt fix the other one. My next issue was that the dryer was almost impossible to work. Every 20 mins you have to empty this odd water pitcher that the dryer holds and being that you have to wash and dry your own towles this is very inconvenient. Also there was a vent hanging from the celing that was close to falling out so it seems that some things go unnoticed here. Lastly, we received 2 noise complaints which were uncalled for there was no reason for that so I'm unsure who exactly monitors that and if im charged I will be disputing it.

Our 3 bedroom apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our 8-day stay. Could use a few shelves in the bedrooms- only 5 hooks with some hangers were provided. We paid for 'in&out' parking across the street in the parking garage thru Spot Hero. Trolley was 1/2 block away and took us most everywhere we wanted to go. Codes on doors made us feel very safe in the apartment. On the 3rd floor we didn't hear any bar noise. Too chilly to use the pool but sitting on the rooftop deck was lovely. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Amazing location, amazing property! Easy walk to Canal St, Bourbon St, Streetcar Trolley. Easy Rideshare to French Markets, Magazine St, and more. Quiet location, nice coffee shop and bar, great food nearby. Can’t wait to stay again.

The apartment was very clean, stocked with all the necessaries and a GREAT location to the street cars. We parked our car in the parking garage across the street and either walked or rode the streetcars for the 4 days we were there. It is located 1 block from Canal Street and 3 blocks from Bourbon Street. Will definitely stay there if ever in New Orleans again!!

The property was clean and well kept with a very good use of the small space. Close walk to french quarter, less than a mile walk from the Superdome and Smoothie King arena and we felt fairly safe in the area. Great bar downstairs, as well!

Last minute trip to Nola to celebrate our brother's 50th. This unit has 3 bedrooms. 1 en suite and 1 hall bath. Perfect for 3 adult women. And great price!! Parking Garage across the street. We could walk to all our destinations in the French Quarter. Coffee Shop and Bar on premises were great My only negative is because it is gorgeously remodeled with hardwood floors and exposed beams, (all hard surfaces) hall noise and rooms above were a bit loud. It woke me a few times, in my front room. But my niece didn't notice in room closest to exterior walls. I will definitely check a Sonder property on my next trip.

The positive:
- This apartment is close to the main tourist areas (walking distance to bourbon and the French Market).
-The cafe/bar downstairs was amazing. I highly recommend you to try their lattes in the morning and their drinks in the evening.
- The apartment was clean and had enough towels and other needed items during our stay. We also got a quick response though the app when we needed soap.
The negative
- Our apartment was on the second floor so the view was terrible - looking to concrete walls of an alley.
- There are no closets or drawers. You hang your clothes on the walls. My friend and I brought several dresses so we couldn’t hang all of those on the hangers provided. My husband is tall and brought jeans and shirts that he couldn’t hang.
- We needed to use the third bedroom as a closet and to change clothes. This bedroom also had the ONLY body mirror in the place.
- Bedrooms and bathrooms are small
- There is only one sofa in the living room and it’s very uncomfortable (please upgrade it).
- There is a very small table with 2 chairs next to the sofa in the kitchen - one single space. We needed more chairs
- The apartment looked bigger and modern in the pictures. Note that pictures are deceiving - It’s the opposite small and a bit outdated for the high price they charge.
- The “rooftop” and pool upstairs is very small and it doesn’t look like the pictures at all.
