This house has a beautiful view of the Sierras, surrounding foothills and valley. The house is the perfect isolated getaway for family gatherings, the neighborhood is quiet and private and makes for a great place to get away. Equipped with everything you will need to cook meals & BBQ. Just bring your personals & food. Sierra Lodge is surrounded by breath taking views and is the perfect place to stay on your way into the Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Parks. Home to the awe-inspiring giant sequoia trees it is also home to General Sherman, the oldest living Sequoia. This mighty tree is now estimated to be around 2200 years old and still growing! At 275 feet tall it is 36 feet in diameter at the base. But giant trees isn't all you'll see on your trip to the Sequoias. Abundant wildlife can be found throughout the park, including deer, bears, squirrels and many other animals native to the area. You'll also find abundant waterfalls, flowing rivers and scenic vistas sure to delight all!

As previous reviewer stated and we found also: black stains on sheets, chemical smells, long brown hairs on mattress pads (one didn’t even have mattress pad), dead bugs on the floor and top of the stove bleached linens. No wash cloths, very poor supply in kitchen wouldn’t want to cook there anyway. Mascara stains on bathroom sink. There was trash laying around in yard. Also the futon in the bedroom was torn and stuffing hanging out as well as the walls and baseboards in poor paint condition and the back door handle was broken. Felt way overpriced for a run down trailer that wasn’t clean. It has potential with location to town and park if it had a new property manager to clean and maintain properly. Wouldn’t recommend.

This is a newer property and has tons of potential but unfortunately the cleaning wasn’t done properly, we drove from Arizona and messaged the property owner and let them know we read some reviews about cleaning issues and asked them to please make sure we get into a clean room, for most part things were good except strong chemicals odors and all bed sheets had black stains on them, at this point I didn’t feel like any future complaints will get me anywhere, we checked out and probably we would never return to this property, Please change bedsheets between reservation and towels are all have chlorine stains on them, So replace them with white color your property has a very high potential but has been neglected in terms of cleaning, spider webs all over bathrooms. We would have appreciated clean room, We are clearly disappointed!! Thank you

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this clean and spacious cottage. It's peaceful and very quiet - all you hear is the river, which the host encourages you to check out (we did!) There is also generous private parking space for your car in front of the cottage. Would love to visit again.

The place was dirty, hair and dust all over the place. Dirty sheets, dirty showers, the floor was filthy. We went to the reception and asked them to change the beddings and they did, the nice lady also cleaned the bathroom. We cleaned the floors and the kitchen. There is no access to the river, you’ll need to drive few miles to get to the water. Very close to the sequoia national park entrance. Nice restaurant and café near by.

It was clean and comfortable. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. Some other things made it look like cleaning done prior was somewhat hit or miss. Close to Sequoia entrance.
