Situated in Chincoteague Island, this lovely house for $380 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. This gorgeous home sits directly on the waterfront and features a long private pier- perfect for boating, fishing and crabbing- and three levels of balconies- each boasting million dollar views! When you enter the home from the ground floor, you are greeted by a tastefully-appointed foyer, and beyond that, a dart board, with a Twin bunk bed tucked around the corner. The second and main story of the home features a large kitchen, living room with flat screen TV, and sun-room all facing the water, and a beautifully finished dining room. This home has recently been renovated and designed and features professionally curated paint, flooring, decor, and furniture. The third level of the home features three bedrooms, and two full baths. The master bedroom features a King bed, flat screen TV, en suite, and private balcony. The second full bath is located off the hallway, and the second bedroom features a Queen, and the third bedroom on this level features a double size bunk bed. The fourth story of the home features two Twin beds placed together, forming a long day bed, each with a pull-out Twin trundle underneath, making it four Twin beds total for this floor. This room features extra seating, a TV, and a balcony. The outside of the home features a large stone patio, outdoor shower, outdoor dining set and seating, waterfront deck, and an expansive wrap around porch. This home really has it all, and is sure to be a guest favorite. Reserve Island View today! In addition to all the fine features of this vacation home, you'll also enjoy all the community amenities that Captain's Cove has to offer! This includes 3 pools (2 outdoor & 1 indoor), tiki bar, fitness center, waterfront restaurant and marina club, boat launch, 9-hole golf course, kid's playground and so much more - all just minutes from the home! - No smoking is permitted on the premises. - Linens and towels are not included with your reservation. Please inquire about our new attractive linen packages! - No pets are permitted on the premises. - Any reservations made for a future year (known as "Advanced Reservations") are subject to rate and availability changes. These reservations will be confirmed in January of the arrival year. -Community amenities require passes for an additional fee. - Additional community requirements: Each occupant must disclose their name. Vehicles must be registered; make and model of each vehicle is required. Incomplete or incorrect information will result in revocation of the use of community amenities and facilities. No Sunday check-ins or check-outs are permitted.

Beautiful home to spend the week in with our family. We’ve rented houses in Captain’s cove for the past five summers and this house was the best of them all. The house was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Newly updated kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Having the ability to wade or paddle out into the bay from the little sandy beach area was so perfect. We brought our kayak and stand up paddle board.
We would absolutely recommend this house and Hope to spend another week there next summer!
Captain’s Cove’s HOA has made changes over the years which directly affect vacation renters and property owners. This year’s change: they moved away from selling weekly guest passes to requiring purchasing daily passes weeks in advance, when summer weather is so unpredictable.
The pool and food service staff were great. The front desk staff was super friendly the first 2 our of 3 pool days. The staffer on Friday was a different story and we’ve notified the realty.

Everything about this property is excellent. Very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is high end and well equipped. No need to bring anything for cooking. The beds are very comfortable. We had only one problem with a faulty smoke detector, but it was taken care of promptly after we called. We would definitely rent from this company again.

House is well taken care of and clean, has beautiful views of the bay and the location on the water is great. We enjoyed fishing from the dock and the private beach was plenty for our young kids. Awesome week spent at this beautiful house along the water. Loved watching the birds, boats and changing sky. Definitely get your cardio in going up the stairs, but eveything is handy on the main floor.

Great trip! Really a wonderful house with high end features. Perfectly appointed on the bay. We especially appreciated the pool facilities and the kids had a great time on the pier crabbing. A good Covid 19 lockdown option from Washington DC.
We will recommend...
As a landlord, there are a few things to look out for for future maintenance -
- internet is really slow. We raised this at start of trip but no follow up.
- the toilet in master bathroom runs continuously if you don’t flush a certain way. May run up water bills, if you have them
- the swinging chair in the living room is slightly damaged on right hand side corner, exposing a sharp area that could hurt a child if they run closely!!!!
- suggest to leave a manual fan in attic , it can get hot!

I vacationed here with a good friend and my nieces and their families and we had a fantastic time! Island View is a beautiful home with a lot to offer especially the dock if you love to fish and go crabbing. The location and view is amazing!! Everyone loved it.

Our family and extended family had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the time spent just enjoying the beautiful waterfront! Some also REALLY enjoyed their dining experience at the Krusty Crab! Rave reviews for that place. The pools were relaxing as well at the end of a day. We also spent a day at Maui Jacks and were spoiled by cabana service. All in all, a vacation that flew by (per the usual) with great memories made.

We had a great time staying at Island View we ate at Don's Restaurant on the Island which was great. Then we found Maria's we had one of the best pizzas that I ever had. Went kayaking and got to see the wild horses in the National Park. went to the beach.
The only recommendation is to have a list of places to go and grocery store that is close by. We have to find things on our own.

Very clean, everything was as stated. One thing that should be noted is the stairs. The inside stairs from the ground floor to second are very narrow & steep. The inside stairs into the loft area are only 2 feet wide without a railing & again very steep. But the house has a wonderful view and overall a very nice rental.
