Really clean and spacious property!

Great value for price, attentive host, clean place. Easy check in and out and plenty of room for larger group. Queen beds were a little on the firmer side but still a great stay.

Walking distance to local shops, grocery stores, and even the Polar Express. Love the layout of the house, very good for families.

The good: check in/ out was easy. There were some "extras" to use that we weren't expecting. Things like shampoo, body wash, condiments in the fridge, and laundry soap. Plenty of hot water for many people to shower. Good TV subscriptions. The not so good: A lot of the pans we used to cook had to be cleaned first. Butter/grease on them. With 8 people staying there, had to do lots of laundry for wash cloths and towels even for just 4 day's stay. The mouse/rat traps was a turn off. The couch only had 3 comfortable spots; the rest were saggy. The first bed someone laid in collapsed because there are no supports going across. The box spring is barely resting on the side rails by 1/2". The master bed makes a ton of noise with the smallest movements. Creaking, cracking, etc. Don't plan to have sex unless you want the whole house to hear...No black out shades, so we were up at 5am when the sun came up. None of the bath fans are actually working. They make noise, but no steam leaves the room. That's probably the reason for the musty smell in the bathrooms. Last but not least, the lack of smoke/ carbon monoxide alarms is a little concerning. If I'm being honest, I wouldn't stay there again unless many improvements were made. Just felt like a slumlord landlord who doesn't care about the property.
