About this house rental
Welcome! Our home is a cozy, stress-free, relaxing, getaway. Our lake is a no-wake zone, so you won't hear any jet skis or motors buzzing, or be dodging water skiers. If you are looking for true peace & quiet in a sparsely populated lake, this gem is the place for you!
This woody hideaway, nestled at the end of Pleasant Lake's peninsula ("The Point"), boasts 270-degree water views, two docks, toys (including kayaks and canoes), a beautiful yard, sandy bottom, crystal-clear water, and great fishing!
The space
Typically, this home is not a rental, but from time to time, a week will be available for a few lucky families to enjoy the grounds of our โSomeday Homeโ. Now, our home is not your typical lake house with a few feet of lake frontage. You get OVER 300 FEET OF WATER FRONTAGE on the east, west, and north sides of "The Point". The bay area leads into a quiet, intimate cove teaming with fish, turtles, water fowl, and the occasional beaver! This is our favorite place to kayak and its a stones throw from you.
The house has very "North Woody" feel--without the extra 4 hour drive. The Great Room/kitchen area opens up to the lake with its many windows and its vaulted ceilings. It is the ideal space for the family to come together & is our favorite room in the house.
The master bedroom is upstairs and the downstairs has the 2nd bedroom and 3rd bedroom we call the "bunkhouse" which is the kids' favorite.
The deck has a great grilling and outdoor eating area, and the west dock has some of the best sunset views on the lake!
45 minutes from Milwaukee and 90 minutes from Chi-town.
