The Cavalier Cabin is a luxurious cabin nestled in the woods of Hocking Hills while still remaining close to Logan restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The cabin boasts 2 comfortable bedrooms, large living spaces, and a magnificent kitchen. Traveling is a breeze when you stay with us as the lodge is fully equipped with great amenities. Property offers game room, outdoor hot tub, fire pit, and hiking trails. State Parks, lakes, canoe & kayaking, ziplining and so much more all located within a short distance from the property.
Relax, stargaze, or spend some quality time out by the campfire with family and friends. 10 minutes down the road, guests will find Lake Logan which offers an abundance of relaxation by the water. Take a 20 minute drive from your cabin to visit Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, Rock House, Conkle’s Hollow, or Rock Bridge located in Hocking Hills State Park. No matter the season, you and your guests won’t be disappointed when visiting all the beauty Hocking Hills offers!
Guests can enjoy some fine dining at Lake Hope Lodge or a day of picnicking and swimming with family and friends. The Cavalier is located 6 miles from Logan and 12 miles to Nelsonville, Ohio. The State Park offers over thousands of acres to explore by hiking, off highway vehicle riding, mountain biking, or horseback riding. When in town, guests will want to visit Nelsonville’s Historic Square Arts District, Stuart’s Opera House, Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, or the Nelsonville Music Festival that is held every year at Hocking College. On the opposite side of Nelsonville is Lake Hope State Park located in Zaleski State Forest.

We loved the hot tub, amenities in the kitchen and comfortable bedrooms! The one downside to the property was the gas grill. Not all of the burners worked, so grilling dinner took a long time!

Checking was easy. Upon getting access we found several dead bugs and a few live wasps inside. The hot tub was 95 friday afternoon. When we used it saturday evening it was still at 95. When we got out it had dropped to 91. The upstairs shower drains leaked and made a puddle downstairs. The walls are thin to the point where you can hear people in the bathroom from the living room. Either more light or concrete out front. Trying to walk down the front steps in the low light is very hard. Checkout was bad but had to leave a voice message and didnt recieve a confirmation call or email saying i had checked out.
