Situated in Bolivar Peninsula, this charming house for $80 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Welcome to Blue Whale! This spacious Crystal Beach home is ideal for large groups, with its 6 bedrooms and ample living space. Relax on the wraparound deck while sipping morning coffee and watch seagulls soar past. In the evenings, gather around the firepit, or challenge friends in the game room to ping pong, arcades, and foosball. From the door to the sand, it is just a 3-minute drive to the beach. During your stay, enjoy free Wi-Fi to share your memories you won’t want to forget. Location: Crystal Beach, Texas Beach access: A quick 3 minute drive from the sandy shores of the Gulf. Cars are permitted to park on the beach. WIFI: Free high-speed WIFI is available throughout the home. Cable: We provide Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own Amazon Prime, Netflix, or other streaming service apps as well. Pet policy: Up to 3 pets are welcome in our home with a $25 fee per pet. We ask that pets stay off all furniture, are cleaned up after in the yard, and aren't left alone inside the home unless in a crate or kennel. Please message us if you’re planning on bringing your furry friend! Large Groups: We love hosting church groups and large family gatherings, however groups over the size of 16 guests must be approved prior to booking. Parking: There is room for 5 cars in the driveway. Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip. Up a spiral staircase lies the ultimate fun zone - a game room with two full-over-full bunk beds, perfect for epic slumber parties! Challenge your crew to ping-pong and foosball battles, or get lost in the thrills of classic arcade games. Right alongside the action is a cozy corner with a queen bed for tired champions. Down the hall, you'll find another comfy retreat with two more queen-size beds. And after a day of beach adventures, everyone can freshen up in the convenient full bathroom on this floor. As the day fades to twilight, step outside and embrace the cool sea breeze. Unwind by the firepit, glass of wine in hand, as the Texas sunset paints the sky in warm hues. We are unable to price match any rates found on other booking platforms. - Guests must be 24+ to book the property. - One-night stays must be approved. - Groups larger than 16 would need to be approved. We do not allow parties. - Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am. - Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost. - All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel. - No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied. - Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team. - Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.

This home was the perfect size for our large family gathering. It was unfortunate that from the get go Beach Box repeatedly harassed me about the size of our group and then changed the listing, reducing the number of allowable people.
The home was dirty upon arrival - with heavy dust on kitchen cabinets from air vents, to bandaids on the walls from previous visitors (hanging things), to dirt and grime in bathroom floors and door frames. Several individuals in our party found hair and dirt on the sheets. The water pressure in all bathroom sinks was extremely low and the upstairs sink was clogged. When BB was contacted about the pack but r washcloths a d notified about the clogged sink their response was to send someone to the store to buy a package it the cheapest washcloths available, which were dropped off unwashed.
The upstairs a/c did not cool - it never got below 73, making for a stuffy night for everyone sleeping upstairs. There was also a broken bed downstairs, propped up be boards. For the price we paid, there is no excuse that these repairs are not completed.
The most disturbing and DANGEROUS thing in the home was the rickety dining room chairs. As I was scooting my chair forward, my chair not only pinched my finger but tore a chunk out, causing a serious injury that was only managed because of a nurse in our party. My son-in-law tightened every single chair to ensure no other injuries occurred. We have photos to back up each and every issue noted.

House was very dirty, we found a lot of hair and dog hair all over the place. Some sheets were not changed and some others were piled next to the washer. Towels in washer and dryer. Bathroom sinks were not cleaned. Floor was sticky. We contacted owner as soon as we got there. He responded fast and sent housekeeping to clean house. The upstairs sliding door that led to the balcony would not open and one king bed (not master bed) was broken. House is ok but it needs some attention and a good cleaning.

The home is beautiful and spacious, the AC works great and the refrigerator held enough food for my entire family.

I was pretty disappointed with what we got versus is actually listed. The photos on this listing of this house are deceiving. Unfortunately upon arriving we discovered the patio door upstairs was broken and did not lock. I tried calling to explain our findings and safety concerns but the person was on another call and never called back. They did communicate through text but never fully addressed the safety issue. Maintenance did come out on Monday evening and they did tell us the door was broken and needed to be fully replaced. We did not get to use the upstairs balcony throughout our stay. The outside lighting was out up there and was supposed to be fixed the next day but they never returned. The outside has no white rock, its all weeds and trash from previous guests. The fire pit had some weeds coming up from under the chairs and looked unkept. Theres a large rug just thrown in the yard. The floor inside in some areas upstairs are sunken in and the ping pong table net is broken but thrown there. The bedding had stains throughout some of the beds. The dryer door that happened to be a previous issue was never addressed and we had to call in to figure out how to get it to work. The stove top and oven were disgusting. We had to deep clean some areas after arriving. We didnt use top bunks either due to ladder access because of how they were turned.If we knew the property was not as shown we would not have booked. The internet was great & the house stayed cool.

We were notified the password ro access the housebwoyld be sent until 4pm, as property needed to be cleaned. We arrived at property shortly after 6pm to find towels on the floor, beds undone and sand all over the home. We immediately attempted to reach the management company and were tild they would figure it out. I wasnt until 9pm that they had someone come out to clean the property. I had to call the management company o er 10x just to explain how inconvenient this matter was and how it was not acceptable. Shortly after they were done cleaning , we noticed the toilet was not working and the previous residents had removed the toilet top to be able to flush the toilet. I was that i had to notify maintance. I sent them mesaages witj zero responses. The property overall needs major improvements, the lights outdoors are almost all out. There is zero light in the patio upstairs, the comforters were not washed. The shower upstairs has minimal privacy. The cleanliness and appearance of this property was just not worth my money and the stress that was caused should not have occurred. They did return the cleaning fee and a portion of our stay however itvwas not worthy of my time and frustration of renting this property for vacation. I do not recommend at all.

This place is amazing, spacious, and very clean! Stayed 4 nights for the 4th of July and had 3 families with all ages of kiddos. Everyone one had a place to sleep! The kitchen has everything we needed. Only thing is we purchased a broom and dust pan, as the one that was there didn't clean sand good. But overall very nice place and was great to come back to a nice cool house in the middle of the day after being hot at the beach. We're planning on staying again next year for sure!

We booked this house for our yearly family getaway for 3 nights. The house is very spacious, at a good location and we loved that it had the games, but what was disappointing was the cleanliness and communication. The first night there I had to sweep the entire downstairs except the bedrooms because there was dog hair, dust and dirt everywhere and we noticed because my 1yr had hair all over her clothes and we all ended up the same that evening. Even the couches had dog hair and upstairs was filthy as well. I couldnt even be up there because my allergies got so bad. We arrived when it was dark already since we didnt recieve the check-in info till about 2hrs before and there were only a few bulbs on of the string lights under the porch. Going upstairs was dark and there were no switches to turn on the patio lights. I reached out the next day and was told maintenance would come out which no one did because the lights were not working that 2nd night and nothing was told to me when I told them about how dirty the house was. We ended up leaving a day early and a month has passed and no one has reached out about the experience we had. Just for reference the master bath was way smaller than the other 2 baths. The upstairs shower door does not lock either.

This place is very clean, well equipped kitchen, has a lots of living areas, and communication is good with rental management. This place is good for three families (married couples) with kids or just for a group of young people.
However it has only three bedrooms, plus two closets as "bedroom" (No window, average ceiling height is less then 7 feet, above bed is only 4 feet against wall, bran sliding door with inch gap on both sides). The "6th bedroom" is the living area with game tables and game machines.

This place is exceptional. It is quiet, clean, very spacious and calming. It is close to the beach and the whole place made us feel at ease. The hosts were very prompt in their communication and kept us informed on all the specifics of the house. The kids and adults all thoroughly enjoyed the family time and we would absolutely recommend to stay there!
