We don’t want to leave,it was so peaceful just looking out at the water. Loved all the antiques the living room couch could have been more comfortable and a rocking chair would have been great all in all definitely recommend

Spacious, well equipped, comfortable and great view. Well maintained older home with historic interest and lovely gardens. Loved the two fireplaces. Worked out perfectly for us.

The home was beautifully decorated and the view of the water and surrounding area was amazing! The house was well stocked with pretty much everything you would need in a kitchen. Three long time friends had a wonderful time catching up while exploring the yard and beach. The bathrooms (all 3!) were clean and very nice. The bedrooms were nice even the one downstairs which I saw alot of reviews complaining about "musty smells" etc., but it was very slight and understandable as all the water toys are stored there, but the owners have done a good job dealing with that situation.
We had one complaint and one suggestion.
The complaint: the dishwasher supposedly did not work, from notes in the home's book, but when we opened the dishwasher to use it, it reeked! We handwashed all the dishes as we didn't want to open the dishwasher again.
The Suggestion: Please put a note next to the door or a note in the book about how to lock the door when leaving. None of us use this system in our homes and had no idea how to get the lock to engage. We called the Vasca number but got disconnected, and finally figured it out, but it took us ladies about 20 minutes of trying different combinations of things before we finally got it.
We really want to return and had a wonderful time! Thank you for sharing your home!

Property was very nice, but there were a few things that could have been better. The beds were very uncomfortable, the kitchen and front entry appeared not to of been swept, one of the bathrooms toilets wasn’t fully cleaned, and the Wi-Fi was poor and when we attempted to log in it said that it was “a security risk” so we didn’t use.

I loved the wide open kitchen and beautiful view from the living room/dining room/kitchen. This house is a great setting for family get togethers with room for 8 sleeping arrangements if you have kids that don't mind a hide-away bed! :)

Had a wonderful time with family and friends at this quiet getaway, with excellent views of sunrise and lots of water fun.
The house is well located and cute however very poorly maintained and managed. Basic needs like dishwasher soap, trash bags were missing. The kitchen surfaces and dishes were not very clean. The main bathroom had a broken door , rendering it unusable. The patio furniture was almost falling apart. We contacted the company many times and they were apologetic but did not take care of any of our issues.
The overall experience could have been excellent had the managing company done a better job of maintaining this property.

Well appointed beach cottage with sweeping NE views of Seabeck Bay. Very little light pollution makes a clear night sky ideal for star viewing or the annual Perseid meteor shower in August. Sip coffee or tea on one of the many decks or just look out the expanse of windows. Gas cooktop, galley kitchen and plenty of cookware. After my first stay, I can see me having a writers workshop, family reunion, or girls retreat at this place.

We rented this place for 6 nights. The downstairs bedroom has carpet, brown shag. I don’t mind the color or style! However, the musky smell was horrendous. We called vacasa to let them know and I was promised a dehumidifier. Never once did any member try to call to deliver the machine. By the next day, sat, we had unknown people walking through the backyard where my kids played. The rental behind us, 8616 misery, said and showed us, they have access to the beach using the south side of the property. The south side of the property has a bathroom that has no drapes, the south side is where the private stairs are, where the burn pit is for family gatherings. This was a major upset! Monday we had new people renting the place behind us and they had a dog. We also had a dog that we flew to WA to vacation with us, with the understanding that the stair access was PRIVATE, I had no choice but to Leah’s my small 11pound dog while we were outside in the backyard playing with our kids.
I called Vacasa several times without a reply or call back. I called VRBO and also they were unable to help me out. Never will I ever rent from either company again.

Wonderful property with fantastic views over the bay and access to the beach. One of our party was not very mobile but he was still able to enjoy the bay and spent a lot of time watching seals, birds, etc from the upstairs rooms. This is a property I will definitely visit again.

This property is not up to your standards. Granny-style clutter is everywhere! I had to look under the bed for a lost item. Didn’t find my item, but did find 1/4” of dust and hair. Also the microwave wasn’t working when we arrived. It took two weeks to get it replaced. Lovely view but no other attributes.

We really enjoyed our stay here in Seabeck. The house faces East for spectacular sun and moon rises and surrounded by nature: otter, oysters, deer, hummingbirds, etc. The property had flower and herb gardens fr fresh cooking (tho they had not been tended of late and most gone to seed). The kayaks and paddle boards, life jackets, etc were great fr our lil family gathering. The house is in decent condition, but could use some serious updating including replacing rotting wood on decks/rails and one table outside was extremely wobbly. Furniture was dated, but comfortable. The downstairs/basement room definitely smelled of must and dog, but th upstairs was well ventilated and brighter. The windows are amazing in th front rooms and kitchen area- wch was well stocked. I loved that there was a covered patio/lanai in case of rain too and plenty deck seating spaces. It was hard to give 4 instead of three stars tho, even though we really enjoyed, we had some issues. Besides th downstairs bedroom odor, dusty bed cover and drawers.. where my husband refused to sleep (room w view), the downstairs sink clogged and the toilet seemed strained, but worked. We had just four adults and 1 child (except 2nd child one night), so we were not over-burdening th system. The grill’s grease tray was over flowing w grease and caught fire wch charred our dinner one night. It splashed on th deck when my husb tried moving it away fr th house.. we cleaned up w boiling water best we could. The freezer was also dirty w a spill and left-over ice-cream bars. There were no directions fr leaving trash (recycling??), but a guy came and collected one day. Also, the yard cleaning service came during our stay, wch is not acceptable imo. Schedule it when guests arent present please?! I had to sweep th decks and downstairs couch and chairs th day we arrived. After sweeping after our first dinner, i found too much pet hair with our crumbs. (We own a dog, so I get it, but should have been cleaner ..fr a rental). This place is truly a gem in th rough! Most problems could easily be fixed, and we would consider staying here again if Vacasa or th owners can get some reliable cleaners and simple repairs/upkeep/maintenance. Mahalo and Thank you for having us!

House and location were nice. Everything we needed for a girls week on the water. We saw seals, a bald eagle, egrets, deer and even heard a bagpipe playing across the river.

This house was in a great location, for what we needed. The home had 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths which was great when we were all trying to get ready for a wedding at the same time. The house had tons of character and amazing views and a fantastic yard. The downside…was the cleanliness, the microwave was disgusting, dried eggs on pots, floors were dirty with dust and dog hair (not from us, our dogs don’t shed), there were spider webs and spiders around the downstairs bedroom door,I wouldn’t have minded but all the fees that vacasa added were nearly as much as the actual rental for the house. So these issues should have never happened, this is not the fault of the homeowner or the house. All in all, we would stay here again but not thru VRBO or Vacasa. They also don’t tell you that you have to be checked out by 10am and check in is at 4, until after you pay. So not even 48 hours was $1700, something doesn’t add up.

Wonderful and beautiful older home. Has been updated. Great views. Loved it!
Problems include: microwave does not turn, has to be done manually.
Could not get the heater to work downstairs.
Dryer only works on timed setting.
We got out on time by 10 am, but email suggested that we needed to check out online. I did not see alert for same in house book or emails.

Rustic and modern. Plenty of comforts along with a wood stove, fire pit and water craft. The dingy/boat is good for two adults. Oysters were superb. Great views. Yard is huge, plenty of room for crazy kids with lots of energy. Dog friendly too. WiFi worked perfectly. Make sure you read the manual they have there about the house and what to do, etc., it has the most current info on the WiFi name and password.

Perfect Location and Amenities
We loved our 3 night stay here in February. The weather was warm enough for us to enjoy kayaking in the lagoon. Oysters right there on water are impossible to beat! The house has a fantastic character and has all amenities in place for indoors and outdoors. If anything can be improved it is the cleanliness - particularly the floors. Other than that an amazing place to relax over a long weekend - will definitely come back in Summer.

We stayed here over Thanksgiving and had everything we needed to cook a full feast. The quality of the pans was the best I've seen in a rental. We sat for hours reading and playing games with the amazing view through the big windows and room that was all windows. The beds were firmer than we are used to and basement room had a bit of a basement smell. Despite those things, we would totally stay here again and recommend it.
