📝 OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Construction Notice: There is construction on our street. By city ordinance, crews are permitted to work Monday through Friday from 8AM to 4:00PM. We’ve adjusted our nightly rate to reflect any potential inconvenience during your stay.

Staying for a long weekend? There is no construction Thursday night, Friday night, or at any point on Saturday and Sunday.

Guest Verification: A signed Rental Agreement is required within 24 hours of booking. After your reservation is accepted, you’ll receive a secure link to complete the agreement. It will request the full names and DOB of all guests, along with a copy of the booking guest’s government‑issued ID. This is a requirement of our insurance company and is a condition of booking our home. Payment will appear as two charges: one from VRBO (service fee) and one from “Our Humble Homes” (remaining balance).

Adult‑Only Bookings (Guys/Girls Weekends): We welcome mature, respectful adult only groups. The primary guest must be 25 or older with positive reviews, and all guests must be 25+ unless traveling with parents. We do not host prom, graduation, or senior‑week groups, and the home’s maximum occupancy is 22 guests.

No Hidden Charges: Cleaning, linens, and amenities are all included in your total.

SAVE on stays over 2 nights: Whether you use the extra night or take advantage of the bonus time for an early arrival or later departure, you’ll enjoy a smoother, more relaxing stay with even more moments to unwind and enjoy the area. May not apply to holiday weekends.

Safety & Security: Homes are equipped with smoke/CO detectors, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits. Exterior cameras and noise monitoring devices are in place for safety (no audio recording).

Mobility Considerations: Entry requires a few stairs that do not have hand rails. Each home includes a main-level king suite with a stall shower and jetted tub for easier access.

Lake Club Access: Complimentary passes are included but availability is seasonal and not guaranteed. No refunds will be issued if amenities are unavailable or the club is closed. Lake Club is open Memorial Day through Labor Day only.

Property Note: These homes are not lakefront, despite what the listing details may indicate.

Water Usage: During high‑occupancy stays, the water supply may temporarily run low. Showers may need to be staggered to allow the system time to replenish.

Hot Tubs: The hot tubs are not fenced and may be visible to neighboring homes.

Community Rules: Fire pits, open flames, and fireworks are not permitted in our community.

Nature & Wildlife: Located in a wooded area, you may encounter wildlife such as deer, bears, squirrels, and insects. The home is regularly treated by pest control, but sightings in and around the property can still occur. We encourage guests to keep doors closed, store food securely, and enjoy the natural surroundings with awareness.

Self check-in is simple and secure with a unique key code assigned just for your stay.

Each home has its own private entrance, and while they are not connected inside, moving between them is easy via the front or back doors.

You’ll have access to the entire property, with the exception of a few locked owner closets.
