About this house rental
Located in Garden City, this attractive house for $515 per night is a great choice for your next break. Three story Oceanside Village beach house is beautifully decorated, hardwood floors, open floor plan, screened patio, large deck and front porch., 2 golf carts (complimentary use), several bicycles, beach chairs, beach towels and beach toys. Main level has large open floor plan, fully equipped kitchen w/granite countertops, family/dining room, 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and laundry room. Lower level has private entrance (no stairs), 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, large family/dining room, laundry room, screened in patio. Can be locked off from upstairs. Linens provided. Towels provided for each guest on contract. Started pack provided: 1 hand soap each bathroom, trash bags in every can, 2 rolls of paper towels and 1 roll toilet paper in each bathroom. Each bedroom and family room has a TV with Roku & Spectrum cable Garage has game room with ping pong table. Oceanside Village features: Gated community, indoor pool, outdoor pool, splash park, fitness center, basketball/pickle ball courts, baseball field, playground, and a short golf cart ride to private beach parking. Beach is approximately 1 mile from our house. It’s an easy walk and a 5 minute drive. Long term winter rentals welcome, please inquire regarding rates. Cameras on outside of house for added safety.

The home and the neighborhood were so incredible!!! Denice was easy to communicate with and even sent reminders on trash day during the week so we didn’t forget. I would HIGHLY recommend and our family plans to stay again on another vacation trip!

We stayed in the house with multiple families and there was more than enough space. Everything was just as was described and Denise was easy to get hold of with any questions. Everyone had a wonderful time.

Denice was so extremely responsive and helpful! This is the first time in many years our extended family met for vacation! We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The ride to the beach or the pool on the golf cart was seemless! The community pool was a little dirty for our liking, but that is not on the homeowners! We got plenty of sun and water time at the beach. Even though the beach was a little crowded, we always found a spot for our group of 8-12. We cooked at the house every night! Overall a wonderful experience and definitely recommend!!!

"Vacation" home... only you have to find your linens and make your beds on arrival (which have sand in them 😀).
On last day need to wake up early and wash comforters and remakes beds or get charged additional costs (Even though there is a cleaning fee).
Don't mind the roaches, they are mostly on the bottom level (we counted 12 that we killed). We have pictures but cant attach them here.
Passes were not issued on arrival, we received day passes and had to go back to the office the following day to get the right ones. But there's a catch! Super common issue apparently, line of maybe 8-10 people there for the same thing. Took 25 mins for my turn.
Everything else was okay. Just prepare yourself to
A, make beds on arrival
B, deal with pass issues
C, make time to wash and reset beds
D, bugs
Not worth the money for a "higher end place".
I'm expecting a "you signed a contract" follow up response. We will NOT be coming back. Too many other options to put up with things like that on a vacation.

Clean, fresh, great size. Perfect for multiple families. Had a great time and would definitely stay again! Little things you need to do yourself- make the beds and provide toilet paper. Need to wash beach towels prior to departure. Not a big deal. Golf carts were great and kids loved taking them to the beach. Not close enough to walk. The restaurant and bar on beach were great and nice addition. The owner very responsive to any questions before and during our stay.

This property was great for our 4 families getting together. Multiple kitchens helped keep the groceries needed for our group and grill was appreciated. Plenty of room and the community had fantastic amenities that everyone enjoyed including pools for kids and private beach access. Golf carts were fun. Overall a great experience!

We vacationed with our adult daughters, spouses, and their five boys, ages 6 and under. This house worked beautifully for us! It was very attractive, clean and comfortable, and had enough space for all of us. We loved taking the golf carts to the beach, pools, playground, or just for a ride around the community. The back deck was a great space for morning coffee or evening glass of wine.
The host provided detailed instructions throughout the process, and responded quickly to questions.
I would highly recommended this home to any family!

I read that there were too many rules for this house, I disagree. It was just what i needed as a first timer. The home was simply lovely and so was the area. My family loved every moment. I just wished that we were able to be better guests for her, the key for one of the golf carts broke. Denise is very sweet and hospitable.

The pictures do not begin to show the perfectness of Mellow Yellow. The home is stunning and perfect for a large family. Plenty of room to accommodate us and give us lots of space. The home has everything that you need. The owner Denice is very responsive if needed. It is in Oceanside Village which is very family friendly. We look forward to our next vacation and hopefully Mellow Yellow will be able to be our spot!

Great communication with owner. Easy check in. Clean house. Perfect layout for 4 adults and 4 teens. Well stocked kitchens for all your cooking needs. Plenty of beach towels and beach toys to enjoy the beach. Golf carts made it easy to get to the beach about 1 mile away. The neighborhood has its own parking area at the beach.

Mellow yellow
Great experience overall. My parents who are in their 70’s struggled with the stairs. We should have paid attention to that when booking. We could have used a few more beach chairs and boogie boards, but other than that, everything was fabulous.

Family vacation
Amazing family vacation on this property. We had a lot of space and the fully stocked kitchen was such a bonus for us as we have a lot of cooks in the family! The neighborhood with golf cart access was wonderful, as well as the private beach access. Our kids LOVED the pool and went every day! Thank you for the wonderful vacation which gave us many wonderful memories to look back on!

Great multi-generational family accommodations. .
We enjoyed our stay. Having two golf carts made it easy to travel to/from the beach. Lots of signs and rules at the house but nothing that most people wouldn’t have adhered to with/without so many reminders. I’m sure the owners are simply trying to protect their property but if you can afford to rent this house you would be the type of person to treat it well.

GREAT location for relaxing family time!!!
All 5 of our children, 2 significant others, our 4 grandchildren, my husband and myself absolutely loved the spacious home, the location, the community, and how close various amenities and attractions were. We never went more than 1.5 miles from the house. The golf carts made beach travel wonderful. With so many people the washers & dryers and dishwashers were blessings. Walking in the community was enjoyed by many of us. Our youngest met new friends at the pool. Our oldest son thought it was one his best vacations. So many good memories.

First time in Myrtle Beach
Our first visit to this area. The house was in a perfect location to get to the beach and having the 2-golf carts with access to the beach was great. We also used the community pool.
House was a good size for the 13 of us, and overall very clean; however - the new owner was a little overboard with ALL the "keep door closed" signs everywhere, and the constant reminders (text & email) about ALL THE RULES - and there are a lot of rules...so just be advised.
The other issue we had was - upon arrival, only 1-roll of toilet paper was in each bathroom, and only 2-3 trash bags for the large trash bins and 1-for the small ones....and 13 people generate a lot of trash over 6-days, especially since they do not recycle in Myrtle Beach.
Don't know that I would ever stay here again because I never felt like I got to truly relax due to all the signs, rules and texts...
Again, the house was clean, location was great and the price was a good value, just a few too many 'rules' for me and my family to feel welcome and comfortable.

Great house!! We had awesome weather. This house was great for our family, 90 years to 7 years. King size beds were a huge plus. Golf carts were great!!!! We loved driving around from morning til night! Locals were nice and friendly. Waved as we drove by. We enjoyed being downstairs since we like to stay out later than the rest. We could come and go and not wake others! Screened porch was nice! Front porch was nice. House was clean. We had more than enough room for 13 of us! Washer and dryer upstairs and down. The little dishwasher was nice downstairs. We wanted to book summer, but no vacancy. Boohoo! Hoping to return Dec 2022. Denice was great to communicate with. Oh & the Ping Pong table was fun! I wouldn't change a thing in this home except for the downstairs furniture; which is next on their list to purchase, I've been told. It worked out fine...we didn't do a lot sitting, anyway. I would like to see the queen bed in the 2nd bedroom downstairs with a King! I like bed space LOL! Room was plenty big enough for a King. Master downstairs has King! All of the bedrooms were very nice size! The light fixtures were awesome! The foyer fixture, to die for! I must have one now! You won't be disappointed if you have the chance to stay in this home! Everything was great. Im sure it can be quite crowded in the summer, but this December was PERFECT!! Pool area looked nice...I suspect it could become quite crowded in the summer. Indoor pool area was nice for the kids. Kids enjoyed the playground! Denice has pool towels available to use. Linens supplied were nice. Drive to the ocean wasn't bad at all. Can take the carts or car. You just cross the street beyond the gate, into the private parking facility for Oceanside Village. Pier is close by! There's grocery stores and Walmarts around every corner for any needs. JUST book it!
