About this condo rental
Just take the elevator to the ground floor and you are steps away from the main ski lift. Our single level condo (Unit 326) is located on the 3rd floor of the Eolus building which is located in the heart of the main plaza - making your vacation as convenient as possible in summer or winter. The condo was completely remodeled and furnished in 2022 and features high end furnishings and a new washer/dryer. The kitchen is equipped with brand new cooking utensils, pots/pans etc. and each bedroom features a TV along with the Main Living Space. The stone fireplace in the Main Living Space is electric. Bed Configuration: single level Master: King Bed with TV and Ensuite Bath (Sleep Number bed) Bedroom 2: Two Twin Beds with TV There is one assigned parking space on the 2nd floor of the building and additional vehicles can be parked in the main ski lots. The Eolus building features 2 hot tubs (year around) and swimming pool (summer only - kinda heated) on the ground floor). Due to HOA rules, the condo (and all condos in the building) is not pet friendly. Please do not bring your pets/emotional support animals. For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. When booking, just advise if you would like the extra 4% resort fee added. Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years). The unit is nicely furnished with great views. The kitchen was very well equipped with the essentials for cooking a meal. The king size bed was comfortable and the two twin beds were extra firm even with the extra foam pad. Overall, the place was lovely and would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay! So many thoughtful touches to make us comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed: all like new. Coffee maker for drip and K cups (Plenty of filters in stock at time of review). Everything modern, new, and clean…even iPhone-apple watch chargers bedside. checkout process was relatively simple job of gathering trash and throwing towels in washer. Mid-July trip so the condo complex was quiet with windows open. Great location between Durango and Silverton.

This place looks great from the pictures and they are accurate, however there were internal plumbing issues with this place.
Let me first say, the property manager, VRC was responsive and tried to help the situation.
I began as soon as we walked in the door we were hit with a rancid smell and the TV on, which was weird and made us thing someone else was in the place.
We soon discovered the smell was coming from the kitchen sink and it would back up. We notified VRC and they put in a work order to have someone come check it out. Because it was already 7pm at the time of this discussion we decided to tough it out with the smell for the night.
At 10am the next morning a sub-contracted maintenance person came and quickly discovered it was an issue beyond the kitchen sink and was not something he had the tools or authorization to attempt to fix. VRC then notified us that it was a deeper plumbing issue beyond their control and had to contact the HOA of the condo complex.
The HOA maintenance person arrived and their answer was to pour a jug of drano down the sink and that RotoRooter was scheduled to come the next day, the day we were checking out.
We were now left with a non-functioning kitchen, which was one of the reasons we booked this place, so we could cook our meals and avoid the expense of eating out. We also were not confident in using the washing machine or the dishwasher. We were concerned they would cause further plumbing backup and possibly flood …

Our family of 3 stayed in the family-fun decorated Eolus 326 for a 6-night trip to Purgatory over the Christmas break. The room was perfect for us. Everything was clean, new, and high-tech. The master bedroom had a king sleep number bed, allowing the head and foot of the bed to raise and lower. The guest bedroom had two twin beds, which were quite firm. Both the master and the guest bedroom closets had shelving and drawers built in to organize belongings for our long stay. Washer, dryer, refrigerator and dishwasher were brand new. Kitchen featured a coffee maker/keurig combo appliance. Blinds in all areas had automatic wall controls for opening and tilting for appropriate view outside. New, large flat screen TVs were mounted in living room, and both bedrooms, along with nice bedside lamps. Living room TV accommodated for internet, streaming services login, and gaming console connection, allowing for some pretty entertaining evenings. Gas fireplace in living room provided ambiance and no-hassle lighting and heat. Very comfortable living room with single recliners and reclining ends of sofa. Entry and exit were seamless for both front and patio doors, as a keypad with code gave access from either entry point. Beautiful views from living room. Our stay was perfect for our nearly week-long visit to Purgatory. Best condo we have rented from VRC over the last 8 years we've been visiting Purg Resort!

Great location, right next to a lift and the main area of Purg. Could sit outside and watch the kids go up the lift. Everything was great, tv's, kitchen, beds, all great. Only item was there was hardly any toilet paper and we had to drive almost to Durango to get some!

The mountain was perfect. Could have used a few more food choices in the area but Durango was not too far. The condo was super nice! Kitchen did have one drawer broken off that could easily be fixed. Beds in 2nd bedroom were HARD! The then master bed was one of those temperpedic beds and had a split down the middle, which if you're anything like me and a snuggler it made it IMPOSSIBLE to do. Location to the lifts was perfect and I did love the little heated room to keep our boots and ski stuff in. +---
