Had about 6 of us on our annual bass run fishing trip. One of the lodges messed up our reservations so i immediately booked this beautiful property. Everything was immaculate clean and they are more than accommodating. I can’t wait to book and bring the wife and kids for a week long vacation. Taura is very pleasant to deal with and was Johnny on the spot with any questions we had. 5 stars all the way!

We really enjoyed our stay at this oasis by the water. Beautiful water property and small town charm makes for a perfect getaway. Cozy up on the couch with a good book, the fireplace burning, and some hot tea for a peaceful night in. My husband caught a large catfish right off the pier!

This our second time staying at this home and it never disappoints. It’s always one of the cleanest homes I’ve stayed in, stocked with everything you’d need, comfortable beds and a great view of the lake! The host was extremely communicative and flexible which is so appreciated! We will be back!

We stay for a week at a cabin every summer with our three boys, ages 9, 7 and 3, and decided to bring my parents along this year as well. We have never had such an amazing cabin week as we had staying here!
The views from the cabin are stunning with lots of birds and fish jumping. The cabin itself is incredibly well appointed. All seven of us stayed quite comfortably. The kitchen had everything I could need, and the quality of the kitchenware was so nice to have while cooking for a larger group. It was also so easy being able to wash laundry throughout the week.
My dad brought his fishing boat and we swam, tubed and of course fished. Everyone fished right off the dock as well. Caught lots of fish including bass, pike, catfish, and sheepshead.
We visited the local pool, wineries, breweries and restaurants. We spent a day in Green Bay and went to Lambeau Field, as well. This cabin is in a residential setting, but we loved having the small town charm while also being so close to larger metros.
I can't think of a single thing to improve upon at this cabin, so if you're hunting for a place you found it! Best cabin week ever!

The property was very clean and has modern appointments, electronics and appliances. It has a perfect view of the lake from both outside and inside the home. While swimming in front of the property is difficult because of weeds, it’s a short boat ride to a popular shallow and sandy area perfect for both kids and adults. We asked for directions at the bait shop which is a five minute walk from the property. The garage is large and can accommodate a long trailer. For larger boats there is a municipal pier nearby with free day docking and $15 overnight docking if needed. Bigger’s Supper Club in town has great food and drinks with reasonable prices. There is a Piggly Wiggly food store and Twik Trip gas and convenience store close by for most of your needs. If the kids want an ice cream, malts, etc “The Well” in town was a great small town treat. For non basic items, Oshkosh is only 15 minutes away. Overall we had a great experience with this property.

I was traveling with my 12 and 13 year old nephews for a Chicago Field Museum/western WI/EAA trip. We stayed at the lake house 5 of the 9 nights. What a treat! The house is absolutely lovely, the boys enjoyed kayaking right off the backyard, and it was very convenient for EAA, yet away from the Oshkosh crowds. We even got to experience a HUGE thunder/lightning storm. Being from CA, those are rare for us and very mild compared to what we got to see. An experience to remember for sure!
Our travels through beautiful WI were superb, and having the lake house as or home base for the 2nd half was extra special.

My family and I had a wonderful time and enjoyed this home right on the water. The house was nicely updated and super clean. It had all the amenities you could ask for. The view of the Lake was amazing and the neighborhood was very quiet. We were able to take a short walk to the downtown area where they happened to have a local parade one day and fireworks at night. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it. The hosts of this home were very communicative and were always available for any questions we had.

Fantastic location
Even though we had an unfortunately small mishap, caused by 2 of the guests, the stay was fantastic. The location is great; the house is clean; the description accurate; the beds comfy, just an overall good VRBO property! The home owners are responsive. You can rent this property without having to worry. What you see is what you get!! And even more!

This property is amazing! The house is gorgeous, spacious, and perfect for families. It’s very shallow by the dock which is great for kids and swimming. We kayaked every day. Ate meals outside enjoying the views. Had coffee by the water every morning on the Adirondack chairs. We brought badminton rackets and a spike ball set to play in the spacious backyard.
We had a short, but very fun, stay and would love to enjoy a much longer trip next time. Communication with Ken & Sally was very easy and they are so nice!! We absolutely loved this home and will definitely be back!!

Beautiful home with great lake views, toys and boat dock
We all felt at home staying at this clean, well maintained and provisioned home. The views from the kitchen, living area and master bedroom are beautiful. The neighbor to the right disassembled his boat house during our stay making the view even better (will be rebuilt once new pilings are installed).
We rented a pontoon boat (Anchor Point in Freemont) and used the dock at the house throughout our stay. Sitting at the end of the dock enjoying the late afternoon/sunset was a great way to wind up the day's activities.
The weather during our stay could not have been much better. We did have the opportunity to enjoy a large thunderstorm one evening and the "light show" on the lake was spectacular. We brought along a bunch of bug spray thinking that it would be "buggy" in the evenings, but there were very few mosquitos or other insects. We saw lots of duck families paddling by each day.
The property was also well located with respect to groceries, supper clubs, boat fuel and just about anything else anyone is likely to need. We had solid meals/drinks at Haase's, Biggar's and Fin N Feather locally. We ate lots of perch and cheese curds, drank plenty of brandy old fashions and gained about 7 pounds over the week.
We fueled the pontoon boat several times at The Landing on the Wolf. What is interesting about this operation is that it is staffed by a three (maybe more) young ladies who each working solo shifts checking in guests at the small hotel, tending bar and pumping fuel. We had some friends spend a night at their hotel one night and apparently it made the Motel 6 look like a Ritz Carlton.
Using the house as a base of operation, we used the pontoon boat to cruise down to lake Winnebago and almost up to New London going the other direction. There are plenty of places (sandbars and beaches) to stop and swim, eat, drink and fish along the way. We also rented a jet ski (Fremont Water Sports) which was also fun for everyone. We enjoyed visiting the numerous supper clubs/bars on the Wolf River from “dives” like Boom Bay Bar & Grill and Gills to more upscale establishments like The Nauti Turtle and The Hotel Freemont.
Hard to find any negatives about this home and it’s location.

The Perfect Getaway!
My sister-in-law, Kat, and I came here for a writing retreat and fell in love with the serenity and beauty of the cottage and its surroundings. Our "office" was at the kitchen table overlooking the lake--it couldn't have been more perfect. The attention to detail by Ken and Sally was beyond our expectations and we appreciated the small details like fall decor and fresh flowers that made the cottage feel like home. Thank you, Ken and Sally, for a wonderful writer's retreat! We will be back! Jan and Kat

Clean & comfortable - 5 stars!
We had been looking for a lakefront home to rent as we were in need of some rest & relaxation and this home was exactly what we were looking for! It was very clean, in a great/quiet location and had plenty of water toys, outdoor seating, linens & kitchen gadgets. The owners were great communicators and the fresh flowers they left us made us feel very welcome. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely plan to return. Thank you!
